My experience with Central Windows has been overwhelmingly disappointing. I was promised…read moreegress-compliant windows, but two of the new windows don't even meet egress requirements. One window is almost impossible to open because the winder is out of reach, and they installed the wrong window in my kitchen--one meant for a bedroom. It was clear there was no attention to detail, and the overall workmanship was poor. The financial terms were outrageously unfair. In the first year alone, $1,700 went to interest and only $200 came off the total, while my payments barely made a dent. The windows are not Energy Star rated, and the final price was $2,500 higher than my original quote. Furthermore, Central refused to provide proof of purchase or details on any rebates. After all this, I received a new competing quote for top-quality, triple-pane windows--fully to code and egress standards. Not only is this quote $3,000 cheaper for the same work, but these windows are also eligible for a $950 rebate per window. I paid $15,000 for only half of my house's windows with Central, when I could have had much higher quality, code-compliant windows for a fraction of the price. The outcome of Central's poor installation and misleading terms means I now have a three-bedroom house instead of five, affecting my property value by potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars. To top it all off, they included a balloon payment of nearly $14,000 after five years, on a contract that was inflated after signing--and several windows don't even function correctly. Subsequent home inspection sound of the alarm testing the windows and determining that they were no better than single payment. Terms of view value and replacement recommended only four months after the new windows were installed.?? I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. There are far better, more transparent, and reputable options available that will deliver on quality, compliance, and value. I will enact legal action as the rep D Damon has refused to provide any warranty or remedy.

He installed the system and seemed to be really knowledgeable. The system works great and he has serviced it for me last winter and this spring. I sent him an email last week concerning one small area that was brown. He stopped by the next day, changed the top of the sprinkler head, set the timer for 5 minutes longer. Solved the problem and did not charge me. I would recommend this company, Daniel the owner is awesome.

One glass firm never returned my phone inquiry, and other glass company offered a very high quote. I called Jamie Frick of Frick's Glass & Mirror, and he was able to give me a quote over the phone.. Not only was his quote reasonable, Jamie is very personable, and he competed my order within a very short time. Jamie backed his work and delivered the glass top, set it on the base, and even cleaned the glass before leaving. I full recommend Frick's Glass & Mirrors 100%. By the way this is the only glass company in West Canada that re-silvers old mirrors!

After reaching out to a few different companies with no success, David offered to drop by that afternoon. He quickly assessed the situation and suggested that we repair the old screen door rather than buying a new one. He offered to re-screen the door at a very reasonable price, and even gave me a lift in his truck to the local Rona, to drop off the replacement door we'd purchased a few days earlier (which didn't fit). Within a few days, the door was fixed and re-installed on our patio. He definitely went the extra mile, and we couldn't be happier with the product or service.

Black Pearl installed quartz countertops in two washrooms and in the kitchen with a waterfall a…read morebreakfast bar and a full backsplash. They also mounted my undermount sinks. There were a couple of little glitches that we worked through. I'm very picky although I can say that I was very impressed with their workmanship and install to a point. Make sure you do your homework and ask lots of questions. They broke the vanity drawer support, then haphazardly tried to fix it with silicone. They didn't tell me they broke it. I found out when I was reinstalling the drawers. They stated in an email that they were sorry and tried to justifying it, and didn't offer to fix it. When they sent me the final bill, I deducted the repair amount, which they did not like and sent the bill back with the full amount. Also, the sink cut out was wrong, even though the correct size was on the contract. They wanted to reduce the price if I kept the wrong cut out, which I stated no I wanted the correct cut out. They stated they would remove and install the new counter same day and old counter would go in the dumpster, not a good carbon footprint. My thoughts were instead of wasting material they can use the counter with the wrong cut out and make a waterfall for the new counter and do a few other cuts for me also, me thinking outside of the box instead of the material going into the dumpster They also decided to charge me a $500 trip for taking out the old counter and coming back at a later date to reinstall the new counter. Yes, I added a waterfall and a a few other pieces which I had no problem paying for although I was not going to pay the $500.trip amount. This would not have been an issue if they would've made the cut out correctly the first time.
