I am sickened over the treatment I received at West Valley OBGYN. Dr. Jessica Fu was the best care I had ever had. My mom had gone to her for years and when I started going to her I knew there was no one else I would ever get female care from. However, she moved facilities and when I called to make my yearly appointment in June 2020, the front desk lady at West Valley told me Dr. Fu was booked out for 2 months and that they don't schedule out any father & that I needed to call back then. However, I would be placed on a cancelation list. So I did. I called back.
On August 1st, 2020 I called West Valley OB again to make my appointment with Dr. Fu to which they told me she no longer worked at their location, there was no such thing as a waiting list and I could see someone else. However, I don't want someone else. I am Dr. Fu's patient and want care from her. They lady on the phone told me BY CONTRACT their employees and facility were not allowed to release where Dr. Fu was now practicing. I told them that it is patient right to know where a provider is and they had to tell me. They said once the contract was over in a few months I could call back or just google her. Her advice to me was to GOOGLE where my doctor was working. It was the most unprofessional, petty, and disappointing interaction with West Valley OB.
1 month later (September) my prescription was up for a refill and I called West Valley OB to have my prescription filled again because my request on my online portal was denied due to not having a yearly appointment. So once again I called West Valley Ob and told them I did not want to see any of the providers at their location and I wanted to know where Dr. Fu was located. They said they had taken her off their website and to google her. Well, as of November 6, 2020 they STILL have Dr. Fu on their website and are stating that BY CONTRACT they cannot share her new location! WHICH PER DR. FU HERSELF IS NOT TRUE! There is no contract! They just don't want to lose her patients and are snakes!
So I started calling OBGYN doctor offices all over Boise/Meridian/Caldwell until I was able to locate someone who knew where she was. So I called Women's Health Associates and asked them if Dr. Fu worked there to which they said yes! I told them the horrible experience I had with West Valley OB several times and they told me there is no contract binding them to not share where Dr. Fu is. IT WAS ALL A LIE. They are stealing her patients. Lying to women all over as to where Dr. Fu is located, have refused to be professional with her move and have lied, cheated, and withheld valid patient information for their own gain.
I got an appointment with Dr. Fu in 2 weeks and saw her on November 6th, 2020. West Valley OB is not interested in patient well being, patient care or basic knowledge on a patients rights to follow their provider. They are liars and steal patients from an absolutely phenomenal doctor who worked for them for years and deserves better. I will never be back at this facility and I hope ever single one of Dr. Jessica Fu's patients leave and know where she is now located. read more
