Not only could they get me in soon -- he was able to get me in that day. My appointment was at 3pm. I got there at 2:56 and they gave me some paperwork. I hadn't even finished feeling out the paperwork and the assistant asked me to come back to the room and just bring the paperwork with me (I'd already phone in my insurance card so they did have that already). She did a good assessment to relay to the doctor and took some xrays. Literally within five minutes of her leaving he came in (and someone else came by in that interim to tell me he would be right with me). He took a great amount of time educating me on why I was feeling so much pain and gave me several non-prescriptive things to try. I've been going to the podiatrist since high school and I've never had a doctor take this kind of time and establish this type of protocol. It's always been -- here go the foot and ankle place and have them make some more inserts for you. So, in short -- same day appointment. No wait. Personalized service.

Dr. Shekailo and his assistant were extremely knowledgeable as well as thoughtful. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered my questions in great detail. I am so happy to have discovered Florida Sports Injury and will be a regular patient. The waiting time was not too long either. My only comment was Waze directed me to the rear employee parking lot but the friendly lady who answered my call to the practice was happy to give me "human directions" to the office. After attempting to do the Dr. Scholls home treatments and after my wife giving me enough grief, I decided to go see a specialist. So I log in to my insurance provider to check for a doctor in my network. Once I found Dr. Tootle I decided to call my insurance company to confirm he was indeed in-network and to ask how much my treatment should cost. My insurance company told me I would only need to pay my copay. So with that information, I procced to call and make an appointment. It took a couple of days and about four phone calls to make an appointment. I would follow the prompts and it would ring, then when someone answered I informed them I wanted to make an appointment. On numerous occasions, I sat on hold for 5 minutes. I decided I was going to make one final attempt, but this time when I called and was told to hold I said no. Informed them I was going to be a new patient that if they wanted a new patient to please make me an appointment and not continue to put me on hold. So needless to say an appointment was made. Whoever I was talking to was very nice, she answered my questions and advised me to go online and complete the new patient paperwork. Appointment day arrives. I gave myself plenty of time or so I thought. Parking is a major problem here, now I completely understand this is not their problem, yet it is simply because this is a medical complex that has a hospital and other institutions here, but they should alert new patients on the phone about the parking. After parking on the top floor of the garage and nearly in the last spot available, I walked in at exactly the time of my appointment. They collect my paperwork and asked for my payment. When she told me the amount it seemed off and higher than expected. I paid it anyway and waited for my turn to be seen by Dr. Tootle. The gentleman who can in before the doctor was very nice and helped to ease my mind. I had informed him I had a wart about ten years ago and it was removed and that the process was painful and I can remember it like it was yesterday. He told me not to worry and that Dr. Tootle would take excellent care of me. He was right!!! Dr. Tootle came in, introduced himself to me. He then got right to it to see what was going on. He treated me and told me exactly what to expect and what I needed to do. He gave me my paperwork and informed me to check out, out front. WHen I haded over the paperwork I was told it would be an additional seventy something dollars. I told her this didn't make any sense and that I had already called my insurance company to go over the costs. She said they must have done something wrong when quoting me. So I paid the extra money and was on my way. I called my insurance company and was told I was charged too much. The insurance company called the office and took care of it. The office must have immediately voided the charges as they never hit my statement. When I went in for my follow up I paid the correct copay of that visit and the copay for the follow-up. Long story short...when they want to put you on hold say no and just make sure they are billing you correctly. The staff is friendly, they just might need more help or something. Again, Dr. Tootle is awesome. I will go here again, should the need arise.

I am disappointed and very upset to know that if he cared I would not have had to suffer for so long. I underwent lumbar spinal fusion surgery performed by Dr. Snavely on February 26, 2025. Needless to…read moresay, I went into the O.R. with a measure of trepidation - even though I've had surgery elsewhere over the years on both ankles, one shoulder, one detached retina, both hips replaced and one knee replacement. In other words, I am not unfamiliar with what major surgery entails, especially post-op. But this surgery involved my CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM! Scary thought. Dr. Snavely was not just good, nor was he great, he was - and remains (had my six-week follow-up yesterday) - PHENOMENAL!! Six weeks out of surgery, I am walking without my pre-existing "waddle/penguin" gait, turning and stopping "on a dime" (okay, a bit of hyperbole; I am not nor was I ever Barry Sanders) with nary a trace of pain. I am ELATED about not just the result, but also the commitment to the patient that I have experienced. As others have noted, Stephanie & Barbie - in addition to Dr. Snavely - deserve to be recognized for their "team" efforts. Thank you, all!

His office is nice, warm, and comfortable. It didn't feel like your usual "cold" doctor's office. Dr. Roth came in the room and was so gentle and very thorough. He explained exactly what was wrong in terms I could understand. He patiently answered all my questions. His suggested treatment was a Cortisone shot in my foot and wen he did it, I didn't feel a thing. It also worked. It's now been several days and I've had no more pain in my foot. He did say it would eventually wear off and I would need another shot, but I am happy to see Dr. Roth again. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Roth if you are in need of a podiatrist! Also, when checking out, don't miss the display of one of Shaquille O'Neil's shoe (size 23.. WOW!). It's mind-blowing! It was acquired from Shaq himself as Dr. Ruth's wife use to treat him. Took multiple MRI orders to get accurate foot which was when I was on the MRI table. 7/7/25 results of MRI came back & top of foot images blocked but, they failed to re order it! In addition, I had an appt with Dr Britt on 7/7 he refused to see me and did a no show although, contacted adjuster with bogus report. When adjuster knew no show changed rate to 7/14 whereas, I had a meeting with office manager to file complaint. She let me know neither on 7/7 or 7/14 any letters in file so meant verbally lied to adjuster. I was kicked out on 7/14 by Dr Britt although, never evaluated. I was sent to another WC doctor but, 2 months later Dr Britt and adjuster pretend I was seen and meds approved. Bogus! Not my doctor, not seen nor ever prescribed anything in Sept. so who got the meds? Why approve a bogus visit but, deny my actual current doctor I had in Sept PT denied? Now I'm back in the room waiting for the "DOCTOR" (we'll get to this in a minute) where I was able to watch not one, not two but three YouTube episodes of my online classes which are 35 minutes each. So I ask how long it's going to be.... To be told not too long, but let me get you in the back to get x-rays. I get the x-rays come back to the room and I'm waiting and another 10 minutes goes by and I decide I've had enough. It's been over two hours that I've sat here waiting so I go out where two nurses? Sitting staring at the pc screens and I again ask what the hold up is and tell them I've waited over 2 hours only to be told .... It's just the two of us the doctor isn't here!!!!! I WALKED OUT!! DONT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR NOTHING NOT EVEN A SPLINTER!!!
