Stayed for 1 year, hated it. The laundry room is ALWAYS broken. Once your laundry is finished cleaning, someone will take it out and put in the bench even your clothes aren't dry. West One has no respect for privacy whatsoever. In terms of maintenance, services are not free. It requires 15 GBP to have someone fix your stuff even your sink is clogged, electricity is not working or there's no heat in the room. The internet has to be paid for. Considering other accommodations have their internet for free, this is deal is so bad it is basically a rip off. The water and electricity have to be paid for. The staff are rude and aren't willing to help you when you ask them for help. The accommodation does not provide vacuum cleaners or any cleaning services, so you have to buy your own. My friend Sarah lived at West One last year and her apartment was one of the nicest i've ever seen. Great views from the balcony, nice appliances in the kitchen and it was really quiet to say the apartments are situated right in the middle of town. Compared to other city centre apartments where my university friends live, West One are definitely the best and they aren't even that expensive compared to what I paid for my student house. read more
