Emflaroma Solutions - Gorgeous smooth ceiling and new LVP install thanks to Emflaroma!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I usually skip reviews but they deserve…read morethis one. I am pretty handy myself but I reached out to a few companies to remove my popcorn ceilings. Ronald and his wife run this company; they drove over to my condo to give me a quote the same day I called. They gave me an extremely fair quote- based on their assessment of the work needed. This was a challenging job and it took just 3 days to have smooth gorgeous ceilings. The ceilings were scraped, sanded, patched, primed and painted (2 coats). It was truly incredible how efficient, experienced, and talented they are. Everyday all the furniture and walls were taped, masked, prepped to protect all my belongings/furniture. Ronald came by once the work was complete to make sure I was happy with the outcome. They have 'specialists' dedicated to different kinds of job. I ended up hiring them again to rip up my carpet and install LVP and they sent over their flooring specialist. I decided to remove the carpet myself as I was on a tight budget and they are more than happy to work with you based on your needs. I am so pleased to have found someone in Atlanta that does high quality work at a fair price. I called 5 companies for my ceilings and had 4 other companies come quote my flooring install. They were truly the most responsive, fair priced, and genuine. I will be hiring them for a full renovation of my master bathroom and I highly recommend this company for any renovation/install you are looking for.

He was one of the most pleasant, kind and honest contractor I ever met. My condo is a rental and the tenant, particular about people in his home, loved the experience as well. we were both so happy with him the the work he did. He removed an area of drywall and replaced it with a new sheet, patched and painted the room. Just beautiful. I would highly recommend him. I also though his pricing was very fair and spot on. I wish him the most success!

I hired William Bullock of Uncle Buck's Painting & Restorations to do a paint job for me as a…read moresubcontractor. He asked me for a 50% down payment, which I paid him via Zelle. Unfortunately, this was a bad decision as he basically ran off with my money, and did not do the job. What happened was that my customer had a deadline for the job to be done, and William didn't order the paint in time, so the customer canceled the job. He said he was waiting for my down payment before ordering the paint, so I don't fully blame him for the paint not arriving in time. The main reason I'm dissatisfied is that he did not refund my down payment after the job was canceled. We're talking about over $2,000 here! He basically returned the paint he ordered and kept the money. I tried asking him nicely on multiple occasions to give me the down payment back, and he refused at first. After asking him multiple times, he agreed to give me the money back in installments. This was not ideal for me, but I agreed to accept the payment in installments because he said money was tight for him. The only problem is that it has been months now, and he has only given me one installment of $400 back. I keep asking him to make another payment per our agreed upon schedule, but at this point he is so late on his payments that I have basically given up hope of ever getting my money back. I also tried contacting Zelle to get me my money back, but they said that they can't help me as Zelle is more or less like cash. At the end of the day, what he did was basically theft and totally unacceptable. I highly recommend thinking twice before giving him a down payment. If you do decide to, at least don't do it via Zelle.
