This is the third time that we have used the shop for wedding shoes. Every time the service has been fantastic. Not only are the prices as reasonable as you can get for anything connected to a wedding, but the staff are exceptionally patient and helpful. We would certainly recommend them to anyone and will be using the shop again. read more

I went to this shop prior to my wedding to look for some wedding shoes. The shop is small but well laid out and they have several assistants. When I went in, I was totally ignored. One assistant was busy but the other one was very rude and did not even smile or nod in our direction. I found the price of the shoes and the accessories to be very overpriced for what they were and they seemed to suffer from wedding syndrome - where if you add the word 'wedding' at the front then the price doubles! I have spoken to another girl who had a better experience here but I would not recommend this shop - buy some designer shoes instead! read more

having bought my shoes for my son's wedding i returned to this shop to purchase a pair of equally comfortable shoes which i intended having dyed as before. having tried on numerous pairs and not finding anything i lliked, i decided to get my 'once worn', pale satin shoes dyed black for the forthcoming wedding i was going to. I was assured by the owner they would be llike new. when they were returned to me i noticed there were a number of areas in which the dye had been missed, albeit they were small areas but noticeable. There was a larger line down one of the heels where the black dye had not taken. I decided to return to the shop to ask they redo dyeing my shoes. I returned on a Saturday afternoon and explained the situation to the assistant who barely made eye contact with me. She spoke with the owner who disdainfully advised it was the gum of the shoe which had prevented the dye from taking. She took the shoe into the back and returned saying she'd wiped the gum from the heel and appeared satisfied she'd been right re the gum. In fact, she'd exposed even more of the lighter satin colour below the black shoe! When i realised i was being dismissed(!) by the owner who was putting my shoes back in the box, i enquired if there was nothing more she could do to improve the look of my shoes. Without looking at me or missing a beat, she said there was not and suggested i use a felt tip pen on the shoes if i was still unhappy!! I was so astounded at her awful attitude and I am appalled at the lack of customer service that i left the shop immediately. I have never completed a review like this before but i want to warn others about the poor customer service of the owner and her staff at west end wedding boutique, which is sorely lacking. Beware! read more

I was looking forward to this part of my wedding planning, going to buy my shoes and I had heard that this shop stocked a good range and variety of shoes, things didn't turn out that way. I was so disappointed at the lack of customer service that I have decided to shop elsewhere and not return. The Shop itself is very small so when I walked in I expected to be greeted. There were 2 other customers (together) and 1 member of staff present so I presumed I'd have to wait a little to be seen to and this wasn't a problem for me. What was a problem was that I was not once acknowledged by the member of staff, not when I entered the shop not even when she tried to squeeze past me. I was in the shop for approx. 5 minutes browsing and nothing, no smile, no eye contact nothing! A quick hello or 'sorry I'll be right with you' would have been sufficient. The shop did have a great selection, however, there is a serious lack of customer service and basic manners. I would expect that in the present financial market a business especially a small business like this, would do as much as possible to secure a sale from customers walking through the door. The first steps to achieving this would be to acknowledge the customer before they leave!! read more

I love this shop!!!! Absolutely amazing, so much choice at such great prices! Such friendly, helpful and chatty staff. Wonderful service, they open the shop late for you if requested and have a shoe dyeing service available. I had spotted a £625 pair of shoes in a wedding magazine that were simply devine and the Westend Wedding Boutique had an exact copy for only £80. Highly recommended! read more
