There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for Erica and the driver. Our family member had a major car accident in Erie, PA which is 8 hours from our home in MA and the vehicle was towed here. We cannot believe how wonderful the staff was. They went above and beyond multiple times for us as we were in such a state of shock and panic. They made a really terrible and stressful situation so much better. West County Towing is wonderful! I am a minister in Ohio. Our youth group was on their way to a retreat near Lake Erie, made a wrong turn and had vehicle trouble on a snowy night. I was gouged by this towing outfit. Stay away. They were called by the PA highway patrol - not by me. Once they had their foot in the door - they charged all they could. $371.00 for a 20 min load-and-tow less than 7 miles away. It was memorial day - and I guess that makes it ok? Service was ok - no complaints there - car was treated well. read more

Would absolutely never use them again! Local police called them to pull our car out of a ditch and the price was outrageous and unfair! They didn't have to tow our car anywhere (just out of a ditch) and the cost was $300!! read more

After locking our keys in the car we called several companies trying to find someone to come and open our car. Luckily we reached West County Auto who gave us a cost quote, which I happily accepted as it was the lowest we had received. Pete arrived quickly and got us into our car without delay. West County Auto will be my first call from now on! read more

Stay away from this company! They will over charge you. My daughter was charged over $500 to have her car towed less than a half a mile to their facility. They then charged $39/day for storage (which we were never informed of). It ended up costing over $2000 to get her totaled car out of their facility. We learned later that another local company would have charged about $100 to tow it and about half as much storage fees. This company has a bad reputation with the community and I see why. I would LOVE to give these guys a better review, the tow driver sent out to me was very nice and helpful and he did a GREAT job making sure my vehicle wasn't damaged further. If you have insurance or AAA, I can honestly recommend them. Now for the bad: I'm trying to figure out of this is reasonable or not, but they charged me 255 dollars to drive a mere 12 miles from their shop and pull me out of a ditch. That's all I needed. Just an extraction, NO tow, no jump, nothing but a quick yank out of the ditch. This was at 6PM and it absolutely shattered my finances. Boss man wouldn't send out a truck until he had my card info, and I somehow got charged for an hour and a half when I waited about 30 minutes and it took about 20 more to finish the job. I'm a 27-year old veteran in a trade school, and I got a family and a 1200 dollar car, this is an absolute nightmare financially and by the time I knew it was gonna be so much, they already had my card info. I wanna say again, the driver that showed up was helpful and careful. But the price I paid was sky-high and I cannot recommend them if you have a cheaper alternative and the bill is yours.
