The moment we met with Katie we knew she would be perfect for us. At the time of our meeting with Gather Event my anxiety was high. I felt like I had nothing under control and wasn't sure how I was going to handle everything, but by the end of the meeting I felt much calmer and confident that Katie would make our day run perfectly. Through the entire process she was cool, calm, and collected. Her team made sure every detail was covered, thought about, and managed. They helped create our wedding timeline and made sure all vendors were aware of timing and facilitated those relationships from start to finish. I didn't have to think about much during the last couple of weeks before the wedding and what a gift that was; to be relaxed and confident before the big day! I am so thankful we decided to have Gather Event Planning be a part of our day. I received so many compliments on how smooth everything ran, and how perfectly calm the wedding atmosphere seemed. She is super dialed into the wedding industry and was able to easily rattle off recommendations for vendors that matched our style, wants and needs. I also found her to be very thoughtful, strategic, smart, and extremely calm, not to mention super experienced. And the proof is in the pudding -- if you look at photos of her events, they are so incredibly beautiful, put-together and stylish. We were originally supposed to be married in May 2020, and having to put off our marriage several times due to the pandemic was a huge disappointment. But Katie stuck by us through two rounds of rescheduling and helped us through it ALL. She understands events and the industry so well that even though the pandemic was uncharted territory for all of us, her knowledge and gut instincts saved us many times. She was always quick to answer emails and phone calls, and there was never a loose end on her watch -- she is so organized and focused. And we could always count on her to be super honest and transparent with her advice; if spending money on something added a lot of value or made a lot of sense, she would tell us, but she would also let us know where we could easily save money. I was happy with every one of her recommendations -- vendors, decor, paper goods, everything! I will also never forget the many examples of kindness and empathy that Katie showed us, including literally HOLDING a plate of cheese and fruit for me to eat from between photos on my wedding day! Her compassion and positive energy are honestly humbling. When we were planning our event with all these masking and safety restrictions, I was worried that after all this work and all these postponements, the resulting event was going to feel like a compromise. But our day was honestly perfect and stunningly beautiful, and a lot of the credit for that goes to Katie. I am forever grateful and would heartily recommend her to anyone planning an event.

Knowing that this was going to be one of the most important days in our lives, we did a lot of homework and interviewed several planners. In addition to experience and strong references, the single most important factor to us was chemistry. Warm and genuinely caring, we connected with Carisa from the start and knew we didn't want to entrust our wedding to anyone else. The other factors we considered: 1) clear, reliable communication skills - including the ability to listen and really understand our vision and intention for the event; 2) strong organizational skills and follow-through; 3) established relationships with the best vendors; 4) clear design inspiration and passion; and 5) a game-day MVP who calmly directs the show behind the scenes and makes everything run smoothly. Carisa delivered on every criteria, and, in fact, exceeded our high expectations. It has now been over a year since our special day, and we still get compliments from our guests who tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to! The whole experience was truly joyous and magical, and Carisa and the entire Adornment Events team were essential in making our dream a reality. The financial investment in hiring Carisa and her A-team to seamlessly orchestrate our big day was worth every penny, and we could not have done it without them. We cannot recommend Carisa and Adornment Events highly enough!!!

    I am sharing this as a caution in choosing this company as I see many positive reviews but our…read moreexperience was FAR from positive. I was part of my best friends wedding this past weekend and our experience with Party Factory was beyond unprofessional, rude, and demeaning. My best friend placed an order for linens 6 months ago to which she was told they would be able to fulfill said order. Two weeks before the wedding (nearly 6 months since placing the order) she was contacted by Party Factory informing her they did not have the colors she wanted. Upset but understanding things happen, she came up with a solution and choose to do all white linens to which she was then told they also cannot fulfill. Again this was two weeks before her wedding after months of being told that everything was fine and she would be able to get the linens she needed/wanted. Upon the day of the set up and rehearsal (the day before the wedding) the linens were dropped off--this include disproportionate amounts of black, grey, silver, and white. On top of this, two of the white table clothes had stains and the company did not drop off the drapes for the ceremony backdrop. We called and waited to have them delivered. Further when they were delivered, there were lose threads and not all of the drapes were there. At this point we were so behind we did not have time to wait for more so we did what we could to make it work despite the mistakes made by this company. Thankfully, the venue allowed us to use some of their own and we ended up not using any of the black cloths. The night of the wedding when Party Factory came to pick them up the owner Cyrus was present and the wedding coordinator explained the stains and how we had not used the black asking for a refund. Cyrus was unbelievably rude, disrespectful and demeaning telling the wedding coordinator to "lower her expectations" and that she "obviously doesn't know the industry and has never done this before" to which she quickly corrected that she was a wedding coordinator and had been part of this industry for awhile. Further, several days after the wedding Cyrus sent an email to the bride accusing her of being a "bully" stating that "[she was] rude to [his] staff, and has unrealistic expectations of people especially after [she] hasbeen a bully to them.  [He and the staff] all love working on events and helping to make events the best product that [they] can, when [they] are working with people who are nice and share [their] goals of a great event it encourages [them] to double [their] efforts, however you [the customer] crap on people and are not the kind of customer [he] wants to work with.  Please use another company in the future." It is also worth noting that the individual he emailed (the bride) was not even present during the time of this encounter. I am in awe of the unprofessionalism and disrespect. I cannot express into words how much I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who wants an stress-free and communicative experience for their wedding or other events.

Nice People…read more We have rented chairs, tables and tablecloths from Party Factory for a yearly spring gathering of friends and family now for three years in a row. Our experience was stellar all three years. They are easy to work with and very clear about logistics and prices. They arrived with deliveries on time as promised, and picked up on schedule. Their billing is seamless and has always been correct to the letter. Their equipment is in perfect condition. And they are very nice to deal with in person, on the phone and by email. Really just a great experience overall. Highly recommended and we look forward to working with them for all of our future parties.
