Two of the lines in the concrete were put in totally the wrong spot, one was completely omitted, preventing it from matching up to the existing patio and I explained that that was a whole goal to tie a new concrete so once it was completely dry, it would look like it was part of the original job, but this omission completely prevents it from matching up. The other was when they had to take the fence down to use concrete pump, they broke the 2 x 4 cross members due to the age of the wood ( according to Conquered Concrete) in the process in which they took it down and replaced it with the broken wood instead of of spending about eight dollars replacing it. They elected to put up the old broken ones that did not connect or provide any Safe secure security and neglected to tell me that it was like this until I found out on my own, not a major detail, but the details make the difference from good to great! I fixed it for about eight to $10 in about a half hours time quick run to Lowe's. I just wish I would've known about this and not found out on my own weeks later. These are the details that take you from good to great! I did communicate and explain all this to the owner unfortunately, he did not see it in the way the pain customer sees it, but I try to reach out and give an opportunity to make it correct before I did this review. Work was good not great like I said a couple details would've made a great..

We…read moreexperienced a roof leak in October that involved poor installation workmanship by the solar company when they replaced solar panels on my roof. My home insurance would not cover the damages. I had to place a tarp on my roof temporarily while dealing with this nightmare. The Solar company "Tesla" did not take responsibility for damages to the roof tiles that caused the leak. The home insurance company pointed fingers to the solar company and denied my claim. I had to source out several roofing companies. In the midst of rainy season, some roofing companies told me that it would be weeks till they can come out and do any repairs. I searched on Yelp and found Jacobo Roofing. I saw the reviews and called them. Within a day, I was contacted by Marcos. It's a Father/Son team. That same week, they came out to my property to access the issue. The Solar panels were an obstacle, and I had to get them removed before any recommendations for the repair can be established. Tesla offered their uninstallation services for a fee, but I opted in not using them because they are the source of the problem. After I got the Solar panels removed, Marcos and his father came back out. They gave me a reasonable proposal and also recommended other work on the ridge of the roof that would make water drainage better and to prevent other damages to the roof. The work was scheduled a week after the proposal. Marcos kept me informed the entire time. On the day of the repair, I had to work and was not at home. Marcos and his team worked on the roof for 2-days and completed the work. They removed all debris and materials and my roof is leak free. Marcos and his Father are subject experts in this field and they professionally handle the visits, communication, and the entire process. They put customer concern at the highest priority. They communicated with me the entire time of the project. Best of all, they gave me a 10 year warranty on their work. I highly recommend this company for any residential work.

A few either didn't provide us w/quotes or just didn't show up when we called for them to drop by to see what our fence looked like & quote. Those who did just looked at our fence and told us that it all needed to be complete replaced and quote several thousands of dollars. However, my husband and I were at our local Lowe's and just happened to see a sign on the door of a truck "Fence Doctor". So we took the name & phone number and a few months later, we called them. Sure enough, he dropped by when he said he would, looked over our fence (REALLY examined it!), left and came back with a quote. He stated that all our fence needed was to replace the posts (all did need replacement) and a number of broken slats replaced with new ones and handed us our quote. We were blown away at how reasonable was his quote! Needless to say, our posts were replaced with new treated ones in concrete and about 15 slats replaced, all work cleaned up in less than 8 hours time! It looks even and is very solid. Fence Doctor was very efficient and cleaned up the broken boards, etc. About 7 or 8 slats on the side of our house as well and only charged us for the extra boards. We sincerely & highly RECOMMEND the Fence Doctor! Thank you, Fence Doctor!

The demo crew got right in and worked very hard. We opted to add a color to the concrete to give it more of a customization. This was an extra $2,000.00 atop an already $24,000.00 project. We followed all the guidelines the owners told us to do while the concrete cured. I was very concerned as the concrete had large black spots all over and still does, one of our exterior filters was plugged, several depth tiles were placed crooked and one of our interior tiles was damaged. These were never addressed. It took forever to get the owner to come look, when he did I was not there. After many emails, phone calls and text they finally returned June of 2023 with only 24 hour notice to acid wash the concrete. This only help a small amount. I will be turned to the Contractors State License Board. Be careful, if something goes wrong you will mean nothing to this owner.

As we were paying for the items, he requested the cashier to put his number so he can get the reward points, even though I was paying for the items. We had agreed he would avoid cutting back of the drywall and the stucco to gain access to the shower cartilage, and instead access everything from the front, which is why we bought cover plates. However, when we arrived at the house, he went ahead and cut into the drywall from the back without notifying me or my wife. He did the same for the upstairs bathroom. Then he was gone for half the day leaving his 2nd to do all the work. After returning, they proceeded to cut into the stucco, still without mentioning any additional costs. Around 5:00 p.m., they left without repairing the walls or the stucco, and it was only then that Manuel (owner) mentioned wanting more pay. I gave him $250 as part of our original $360 agreement, with the understanding the rest would be paid once the job was complete. A day after, he texted me claiming I owe him $2000. I told him I wasn't going to pay that much money. I asked him to return and complete the job since he is the one who decided on his own accord to cut through stucco and drywall without obtaining permission. I told him if he had mentioned that this would have cost me $2000, I would never have taken him up on this job.
