The staff are engaging, friendly and keep you informed as to what they are doing. Well for me, they are always letting me know what they are going to do before they start such as 'now we are beginning the cleaning', 'are you still comfortable?', ' I'll be switching to the scaler', etc. Dr. Chan had provided me with options as to whether I wanted Invisalign or braces. He put my info and scans into the Invisalign system to make sure it would work. I had gotten Invisalign which I thought I may not have been able to get/use as I thought I would to have actual metal braces. So far, the Invisalign is working for the front teeth, however my lower jaw is slightly off so the top back teeth are in a bit more which align with my lower teeth.

Dr…read more Ayoughi is very skilled at what he does and is extremely welcoming and the front staff has been fantastic! Unfortunately over my last few visits, I found myself in the hands of other dentists at the clinic and to be honest it felt like I was experiencing student work. Everything from not being given the "lead bib / Apron" during multiple ex-rays (They started with it, then had to redo the ex-rays a few times and No Bib) to dealing with a student assistant that was very nervous and not knowing the instruments (the original assistant called in sick at the last minute) to being put almost upside down while getting a root canal (Very uncomfortable Position!), to having temp filing pop-out. The last 3 visits were 1) A root canal and crown, (not done by Dr.Ayoughi) I had to return 3 times due to temp falling out and pain. The first time they re-cemented the temp that had poped-out, the 2nd time they tried adjusting the crown with no success 2 weeks after installing it. 3) The third time I was still in pain, I demanded to bee seen by Dr. Ayoughi and he was very nice in explaining what might be going on and did more adjustments and told me his assistant would check-in with me in 1 week or 2 to see how I felt as he was leaving on Vacation and she did, she left a message as I was unable to answer the call at the time. I returned the call that evening and left a message saying that I was still in pain, at that point it became "Radio silence" never heard back! I had to go to another Dental clinic to get checked and that's where they told me that the root canal was excellent but the crown was to close to the bone and that was the pain / discomfort I was feeling. 2 options were given to me 1) an expensive surgery to repair the problem or 2) let time do the work and allow bone matter to grow. Parkview Dental was one of the very best service I'd ever receive in a dental clinic, until I was switched around without being asked and passed around to other dentists in the clinic, then the quality of work went downhill. I unfortunately had to move on to an other clinic. The front staff has always been good and accommodating. PS: That was not my first root canal, I've had a few, so I'm well aware of how it should go and feel.

Our family works with 2 hygienists for cleanings, Viktoriya and Kelly, both are top notch and work with extreme attention to detail! I have recently completed phase 1 of a tooth implant process. It happens to be one of my very front teeth and you can imagine how vulnerable that might make you feel. Dr. Kwong is the dental surgeon that did the procedure and I was nothing less than blown away at how easy and painless it all was. I experienced virtually no pain during or after the procedure. There was very little swelling and absolutely no bruising. At the moment I am fitted with a temporary tooth as the grafting takes place, I will get my permanent implant in July. I'd say he is extremely good at what he does. And I would also have to mention the women who run administration, Michelle and Karolina. Awesomely competent and well organized, super friendly too. As is everyone in the office! Karolina was also the assistant during my implant surgery and she was fantastic! This is an office that runs top to bottom like a high end and well oiled machine. I've had bad experiences as a kid/teenager. For weeks, and hours leading up to the appointment, I was getting anxiety and my husband reassured me I was in good hands. My first experience was with the front desk, and the young ladies were lovely and genuine. They had my insurance set up; I didn't need to lift a finger. In LESS THAN 12 hours I got my return from Sunlife (benefits company). It was so simple and quick! The actual office is state of the art, quick, and effective. Everything including X-rays are shown up on LCD TVs in front of you so you know what the dentists plan on fixing or improving. I had Kelly as my dental hygenist. She was kind, relatable, understanding, and empathetic. Did I mention she has a great sense of humour? She was professional and made me feel super comfortable. She demonstrates a true passion for her role and her attention to detail was impeccable. She also explained what plaque and tartar was and how it could impact teeth and gums. During the cleaning process I was fighting to stay awake! I was so relaxed I could have taken a nap! She gave me the remote to the TV and I watched TV and relaxed while she did her thing. Normally I would be gripping the edge of the chair in fear. Dr. Ma is very friendly and understanding. She has a great sense of humour and does her best to make her patients feel welcome. You can also see the openness she has with the hygienists and the sense of partnership they share. The experience from beginning to end has really reduced my fear of dentists and have already booked future appointments with anticipation. I am young and wanting to protect my teeth for decades to come. They have really changed my view of someone putting hands and loud gadgets in my face. One memorable experience: After I experienced some jaw pain, I came to see her to check things out. My teeth were all fine, so nothing she could do, but she suggested I go to a RMT who specializes in intra-oral massage. I had NEVER heard of this before, but I went to the specific RMT she mentioned and it was life changing. Seriously. After just one session, my jaw pain was gone. I was so relieved and grateful! If Dr Lee hasn't suggested that, I'm not sure what I would have done.

My teeth cleaning done in 45 minutes with X-rays and exam but guess what was the billing -- exam, 4 X-rays (bite one), 3.5 units for scaling and floride coat .. when I argued that it's over and illegal billing, apparently Dr Lee made the staff bill template and it's set. Everyone must bill 3.5 unit of scaling along with other procedures as a must.. is it legal? Or over billing? Shouldn't be it as work and time needed? It's about making more money

Being so nervous, I usually have a ton of questions (dumb ones too probably!) and Dr. Baird has always been patient with me, answering everything, and explaining the procedures in full, which has definitely helped put me at ease. She stops to check in on me really often too, which is a big help. I feel very lucky that I finally found a dental office that I actually like going to. Very quick and efficient. There is parking on the street. I never had an issue finding a spot. Clinic is also opens a few Saturdays, which has been extremely helpful as I cannot leave work during the week. Another thing that I love is that my insurance pays them directly, whereas the old clinic i went to I would have to pay out of pocked and then be reimbursed.
