Also a massage therapist, Simmah expertly…read moremassages your abdomen to help release lodged waste from the intestines and organs during the colonic. There is NO WAY you can achieve this level of waste purge and detoxification by "doing it yourself" with a little enema bag or even an open system where you pay to do it yourself. If you havent ever had a closed system colonic and feel your bowels are congested or health isnt where it should or could be.. or have skin issues, or even auto immune issues.. or cancer or or or- book with Simmah. She can change your life by helping your significantly improve your health in ways you didnt even realize you could improve. Its not a magic bullet per se- but deep detoxing is an ESSENTIAL cornerstone of vibrant health. We are all full of shit- literally. Dis-ease is a build up of toxins we arent able to purge. And.. this type of colon hydrotherapy can get WAY UP into the intestines and organs. Simmah is a wealth of knowledge and experience. As far as I'm concerned Simmah/North Bay Wellness is the Gold Star Standard that should be training others to offer this level service performance. Prior to seeing Simmah for colon hydrotherapy treatments, I had been going off and on for 20 years to someone that I thought was very good. I did not know any better then. But now I know what GREAT colon hydrotherapy is.. and even better- what it can do to improve and support my vitality. The other practicioner had even been a colon hydrotherapist for 40 years- tons of experience.. but not even in the same league of service nor anywhere near the same health supporting results. And it doesnt end there.. Not only do I recommend Simmah's Colon Hydrotherapy treatments but HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the ion foot detox baths she offers as an adjunct. As much as I feel significantly cleaned out and detoxed with the colon hydrotherapy, the ion foot detox was my game changer. I had been suffering with low back aches and EXTREME fatigue from what I now believe was weak and "congested" kidneys. It had been so bad that I hadnt been able to work for over 18 months- true story. The foot detox kicked out more gunk than i could ever have imagined coming out of my FEET! Good lord was that an eye opener. But the best part I didnt see coming was------ it was the miracle I was praying for. I just had no idea that it would come in the form of a foot detox. After 18 months of undiagnosable debilitating exhaustion and lower back aches and discomfort it vanished nearly instantly after the foot detox bath. I was gobsmacked. My partner is still in disbelief that I made a 180* turn around in my energy level. Later I learned that she uses a professional ion food detox device thats MUCH more expensive than the units often sold online. I'm learning. And I'm in awe of the healing power deep detoxification offers. Now.. after hearing about the 10 month detox Simmah has taken clients through, with life changing health results, I am ALL IN. I hope to update as I go through that journey with North Bay Wellness as I anticipate experiencing even more profound positive health and vitality upgrades. So far I've purged parasites--- and I havent even officially started the 10 month detox. Yep i said it. Flush out those parasites people! Simmah shared that about 95% of her detox program clients purge parasites. These buggers suck the life energy out of us- quite literally. But we drag ourselves around thinking we are tired (exhausted) because we're "getting older"; not true. I've been going 1x per week for about 8 weeks now. Best. Investment. Ever. Get well. Go see Simmah.

However, I'm thrilled to say my search is finally over. Why? Because I found Steph at Serenity and she is terrific! Okay, first things first... As a guy, I'm usually indifferent to ambiance, but the place is extremely clean, smells great and overall has a nice inviting atmosphere. Next, I've had many massages throughout Northern and Southern California over many years. I can tell when someone cares about you and when they are just going through the motions. Steph truly cares. She is professional, strong, and knows how to work out tension, sore muscles, and leave you feeling great! The location is in an old strip of commercial buildings which I'm pretty sure are from the Los Robles Lodge days. (Only long term Santa Rosans can relate!) I liken her unto going to the doctor vs. going to a spa. Keep that in mind. Therapeutic is accurate. Very accurate! Beth is definitely good at what she does! She seamlessly responded to my body's tension and release, expertly knowing what needed to be done. She is chatty, and I had to adjust to that, but I know she'd respect silence if that's what you wanted. (I was chatty in return.) I walked out of there feeling better than I went in so that's a win in my book.

My massage therapist didn't speak any English, and despite repeatedly asking for light pressure, she continued using heavy pressure and even started hitting me with her fists in certain areas. It stopped feeling like a massage and more like being struck. This was supposed to be a two‑hour session, but I couldn't relax at all because the hitting continued throughout. Staff was friendly, and seemed to be running around doing their best to help customers on site (possibly short-handed). Gentle melodies played quietly in the background during our session, but the ticking of the clock was loud and a bit bothersome in our massage room. The decor and setting was clean and simple. I loved the comfy face hole pillows on the massage beds, which felt like a soft memory foam type of material. Our masseuses were in and out of the massage room, leaving the room at least 3 times combined during our session to help other customers outside of the room (I know this because it happened every time the door bell to the entrance rang). This doesn't count the times they left for hot towels. We asked for hard pressure for both of us, but my bf's masseuse did a better job at it than mine. His massage bed had bars hanging from the ceiling which was used for back walking. For my treatment, there were moments that felt like my masseuse applied deep tissue strength, but the pressure wasn't consistent, and she didn't really work on my knots. I did appreciate that she did a thorough job on my feet though. That was probably the best part of my full body massage.
