Another nice perk is that you can return a book from any participating library at another library, it doesn't have to be the same one. From their website: (LOGIN) A group of libraries in Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties who share their resources through a computerized bibliographic database. Residents with West Deptford Library cards can go and borrow materials from the twenty-three other libraries that belong to LOGIN. At any rate, the librarians here are friendlier than the ones in my hometown, so we usually end up here. There's a large children's section and ample parking. One of the better libraries in the area for sure.

It's pretty large, at least four librarians on duty whenever I visit, and plenty of services for everyone's needs. One of the most impressive features within this library is the children's section. It's isolated away from where the adults and teens search for books, read and use the many computers that's available. The kids section has everything from activities, to books and videos, to several children's use only computers. The other thing that's great here is all of the classes offered and meeting space that's available in the conference room. I've seen everything there from seniors classes, arts and crafts, counseling classes, presentations, and even tax preparations. The ladies who work there are always helpful and are really good at getting you answers to your questions, and finding the books or forms that you may need. For a relatively small town, there are big things going on inside this building here.

I'd forgotten how public libraries can provide such a safe haven for so many layers of society…read moreuntil this evening. Back when I was a socially inept child, my greatest delight was perusing the stacks at this library's old location. Devouring all the old-fashioned titles like Daddy Long-Legs, the Five Little Peppers & of course Anne of Green Gables etc was my greatest delight and escape. I have recently become reacquainted with the local library system & it's been kind of a heart-warming experience. My 4 year old son just got his own library card & checked out his first book. We've been renting movies (for free folks!) and books in order to stretch our budget. And while visiting tonight with my own brood, I noticed all the somewhat unruly kids taking advantage of the free computer games/air-conditioning and felt heartened. Even though they were borderline hoodlums, they were there. Not out running wild on streets. And even the slightly scolding librarians made me inwardly smile. At any rate, they also seem to have structured activities for all ages on different days. Toddler & pre-school story hours, reading group & evening lectures for the older set, plus afternoon activities like crafts and game nights for the bigger kids. They even have passes to the Children's Museum in Cherry Hill available to borrow. And your local library card means you have full access to the county system of libraries & can borrow from any of them. The books can even be be requested online & delivered to your home library.

During the First Flight event it was a bit busy, but still felt intimate and special. There's a members-only reading/library area that feels very old-world and scholarly, and a general exhibition space with rotating displays, historic prints, books, and artifacts tied to architecture, design, and Philadelphia history. It's quiet, thoughtful, and the kind of place where you naturally slow down and look closely at things. I went back again yesterday for a very specific and slightly heartbreaking reason. I realized I grabbed the wrong collectible pencil before. Mine said "52 Weeks" instead of "First Flight," which meant my collection was incomplete and yes, I was genuinely sad about it. I stopped in just to ask if they maybe had an extra one somewhere. Renee was INCREDIBLE. Truly the nicest human. She took the time to look and actually found one for me. It absolutely made my day. I honestly wanted to write this review just to thank her because that level of kindness and care really sticks with you. Also, on my second visit I realized how much I missed the first time around. The building itself is beautiful, classic architecture, warm and elegant without being intimidating. It's the kind of place that rewards repeat visits because you notice something new each time. A hidden gem, wonderful staff, and a really special Philly institution. I'll definitely be back. I'll admit the non member area is small. But it was very informational. I think it would be perfect for civic engineers.

I like going there. The general atmosphere is very unique and welcoming. I would encourage them to…read moreban the use of laptops in the library, it is a place to read, not to do the work.

Ok, first if all thanks to the two nicest and helpful librarians Sylvie & Maureen . All of the…read morestaff here r great. I have been going here since , the ,original Cherry Hill library , the town I live in.was torn down to build this huge multi million monstrosity! Fyi. If u live in my town in Camden county, it wasn't needed. My town was given millions from the state and this money should of been shared by Cherry Hill to the other county libraries but they did not. Imho, seems very selfish . This is a fact . So my hometown is no longer a part of the county library system. Which is pretty sad , I have never set foot in this building. And its like minutes from my home but i dont like greed and the fact that the original library was great. It was not needed. I am afraid that if I say too much my review will be pulled but everything I am saying is truthful and confirmed by other library staff and mgt. So if u live in my town it costs to use any library in Camden County . But I luv the way I am treated , it's cozy, friendly and a warm environment. I don't like that monstrosity in Cherry Hill. Sorry 4 getting off topic so I pay $85 year and it's so worth it. It's in a nice quaint location in haddon township, there is a pretty park and lake, down the street. I def wish I lived in this town. Fyi, if you give them your email , the library will send u info on free events. Like they offered free yoga classes , which was so cool! Lot of activities for kids and adults . Sorry this is so long but when I started the review , I was in my car after I left the library and got halfway home & discovered I had left my purse[which has my life in it] AT the library. I was a wreck crying screaming , having a nervous breakdown or what felt like it. I called them and the librarian said someone turned it in. Omg!!! I was so lucky and I have had more than my share of really bad luck , so my trip to the library was unforgettable but have my purse and two more books to read. Which I am starting on as soon as I post this book I wrote , sorry if it's boring and long but they have so much besides books , latest cds, videos, and several computers if u just want to surf the web , check ur mail. Ok I am done time 2 relax and read a little b4 I crash.
