Recently (3/15/24) my family and I (7!) stopped in while on a road trip and while it seems basic and fundamental, I have to say, the experience was great. I hate to give negative feedback... 1. because these are one of the few "safe" places that I can at least get some fries or a bunless burger to eat... and 2. you never know what's going on... The drive-through was busy... But the inside had one other customer. But when you stand in the order line and never get acknowledged or even told that it would be a few minutes... Then you lose interest and decide to go elsewhere... or just eat the snacks you brought for the road trip... I understand a lot of businesses especially the service industry... Wanting to give Grace during these difficult times, but hoping my observations could lead to positive changes. My husband and I walked in to a young employee walking from the dining room to the kitchen eating a cookie. We then saw her handing out bags of food after scratching her scalp (no gloves); I believe she was in the drive thru window. Monica was the only cashier and was working hard to expedite food but was pulled in many different directions with customers bringing incorrect orders back and unhappy customers waiting TWENTY minutes for their food. Manager looked exhausted from cooking but had to come up to refund an order that should've come before ours but never did. Kitchen floor was filthy. Food and trash everywhere. Surely that's a tripping hazard and none of the 5-6 employees had time to clean as they go? Ladies restroom was gross; no paper towels with a sad napkins holder on the counter (empty). That's right. My 500th review is going to be about a Wendy's. Why? Because they're doing things right around there, and they deserve high fives all around. We stopped in not only for a late lunch, but for a potty break as well on our way home to West Texas for Thanksgiving. The bathrooms were spotless: no water on the counters, no tissue on the floor and no weird smells. Yay! When we stepped up to the ordering counter, we received a big warm welcome and happy smiles. The food came out fresh, hot and just the way we ordered it. The condiment/napkin/straw area was also clean and organized. I hate when counters are sticky, and this one appeared like it is cleaned regularly. When we left, they wished us a happy holiday and smiled genuinely. The customer service here is really what made the difference. As for the location? Very easy to get to if you're headed west, and it sure beats the heck out of the gross Schlotzsky's next door. read more

I don't think this Wendy's has ever gotten my order right and the food is usually horrible. I ordered chili and the beans were uncooked and the pieces of hamburger meat were massive chunks. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and it came with the wrong ingredients on it. The bathrooms are always disgusting and the workers look unkempt with dirty hands and fingernails. If traveling and you really want the fast food drive thru experience don't bother with this Wendy's - total waste of time! There are other fast food places visible from this Wendy's and although I did not visit those - I will not ever be back to this Wendy's - perhaps I'll try the McDonald's just down the feeder instead. (For that matter there is a Walmart right behind this Wendy's.) Here is the run down of our experience - Drove to the drive through. It was about 98 out and we had the A/C on and windows closed so I have no idea what might have been/not said by the other veh waiting. Waited an unusually long time for the veh at the order speaker to drive forward (then park at the front of the building). Drove to the speaker myself and waited, and waited, called out, and waited - you get the idea - it was a while and three cars built up behind me (all with room to drive around). Nothing was visibly amiss with the menu board or speaker box. I drove forward and was eventually followed by the three cars behind me in little intervals - all to park. I drove around the building and parked right by the main entrance. I noticed two employees smoking a foot from the door. One appeared to begin arguing with a person who pulled up into the center drive of the parking lot - who ironically had not come from the drive thru. The scene at the door was such that we declined to enter the building and changed our plans. This place obviously needs new management. read more

AWESOME! We had been driving from Austin and we saw the Wendy's sign luring us in, and it was strategically located right off the interstate next to a nice gas station. We went to the bathrooms and they were soooo nice! Everything was clean and fairly new. I especially liked the light fixture over the sink! When we were ready to order we were welcomed by a warm friendly smile by a super sweet cashier Hailee! She was the nicest cashier I have ever had at a fast food restaurant! Hailee had the nicest manners to us, and to her fellow staff members, asking them for a "small fry please?". This girl was great, deserves a promotion if you ask me! My wife and daughters stopped at this Wendy's today on their way to Colorado, and their experience was horrible. The wait time was incredulous, the food mediocre, and there was a brown bat hanging from the ceiling in the dining area. Later this evening, my family had to halt their trip early because my five year old daughter had stomach cramps and a terrible series of trips to the bathroom, if you catch my drift. There's no way to prove that this restaurant caused my children to be sick, but if the management or staff is willing to overlook such an obvious health code violation, what else is going on behind the scenes? read more

I'm hoping the Manager checks reviews. I have witnessed several people on several different nights @ 10:45pm-10:55pm being totally ignored in the drive thru! Whether you're a burger flipper, garbage man, Attorney, or President......everybody has a job which they are hired to do. We stopped here on our way back from Lubbock and they were completely unorganised. They messed up our order and drinks. Also our food choices were limited to few items because they had no chilli for the taco salad and ect. My family and I were passing through heading to California. So we decided to stop here to grab something to eat (drive thru). Once we inspected our food I notice my fries had blue lent balls in it so I we t in to ask for new fries the lady that took them as the young man to give me new fries then looked at me to say it'll be a minute wait I told her that was fine then things took a turn. She walked over to another employee to talk about me because to her it was on lent.
