If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The RailYard is hands down one of the best…read morerestaurants I've ever been to, and it's right here in Bluefield. From the food to the drinks to the service, every single detail is outstanding. On my first visit, I tried the fried green tomatoes, the famous chicken & waffle nachos, and the Bleu Monday burger with sweet potato fries each dish was so good that I found myself planning my return before I even left. Sure enough, the next day I was back and had the ridiculously delicious smoked Gouda shrimp mac, maple bacon Brussels sprouts, fire-roasted tomato soup with grilled cheese, and the chimmied fries. Absolutely phenomenal. The fried green tomatoes have officially become my standard nobody else compares now. The Samurai Jack salad so fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. The drinks deserve their own spotlight. The Breakfast Club with a Sidecar is a must try, and the Basilto All Flavors series (strawberry, blackberry, blueberry) is out of this world, blueberry was my personal favorite. Creative, refreshing, and perfectly crafted. The RailYard is the kind of place that makes you excited to come back again and again. The vibe is cool, the staff/manager Brad is friendly and attentive, and the food is truly next level. Whether you're a student at Bluefield State or just passing through town, this place is an absolute must. The RailYard sets the bar high for food, drinks, and atmosphere in West Virginia. Worth every single visit and then some.

The retro "Frozen in Time" theme is so quaint, inviting, and fun! I absolutely love 50's and 60's music, cars, and soda/ice cream shops and their theme blends all of these! The sever was easy to work with, and the food came out fairly quickly! The burgers were tasty, and the French fries were good- the fries just needed a little salt. The menus on the TVs show videos of them making the burgers, ice cream, and sundaes which is super cool and even more interactive than a still photo! There are cute wall decals all around the restaurant that add to the oldies ambiance; retro diner servers, jukebox ice cream menus, old fashioned cars, and a few more! The ice cream counter seating is accented with checkerboard details, as is the ordering and serving station. The pricing was fair, too! Overall, we truly enjoyed our visit to Burger Haven! When we come back, we'd love to order a hot dog with kraut and a sundae- maybe a bubble cone ice cream, too! We will definitely be returning to this sweet little nostalgic escape with great food!
