Taco Salad

Convenient to the freeway and the local business park. The only one where the clerks asked if I wanted to get my chocolate (yes, it has to be chocolate!) Frosty later, after I had my lunch, so it wouldn't melt. I was impressed with the level of interest in making the customer experience the best it could be.

Impressed with this new item!

The curb appeal is okay. It does have a fairly grand entrance. Inside is quirky and rustic. Plenty…read moreof seating options, both in the bar and the dining room. We arrived at 6:45 - party of 4. Got a table immediately. I had a small appetite and chose the salad buffet and a cup of soup. The buffet has a generous selection and I really enjoyed it. The soup was delicious. Service was prompt and we were eating by 7:05. Everyone enjoyed their meals. And no one had any complaints.

She deserves a commission, because it absolutely worked on us. And honestly, it delivered. Now that I live in Texas, I am becoming quite the barbecue aficionado, working my way through all the regional styles this country has to offer. Tennessee BBQ?? - sign me up! This stop was well worth adding to the list. We were seated quickly and decided to split a combo plate, the Barrelhead (something?). It is exactly what you want from a combo. Brisket, ribs, chicken, cornbread, and two sides. We went with the sweet potato casserole and onion rings. The standout items were the ribs and that sweet potato casserole. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and the kind you keep reaching for even when you are already full. The casserole was rich and comforting, easily one of the best sides on the table. The chopped brisket was a bit on the dry side, and I found myself wishing we had asked for sliced brisket instead. This feels like the kind of place that would happily accommodate that kind of request. The cornbread was just okay, nothing memorable, but not a dealbreaker. Even with 2 of us splitting the plate, we still had leftovers, which is always a win and Wayne the dog who enjoyed them - would give it 2 paws up!. The four of us could not resist trying one of the newer desserts, the peach cobbler with ice cream. It comes out warm in a small cast iron dish, which is always a good sign. I do not know why I keep expecting fresh peaches in these desserts, they are almost always canned, but it did not matter. The dish was completely cleaned out in minutes.

This location is well kept and clean. I popped inside to order, but took my food to go. The cashier was okay, not the friendliest, but got the job done. The lady who handed my food and drink was great, kind and helpful. I went with the bacon double meal with onion rings and a coke zero. The coke zero slapped, the onion rings were fried well and the burger was stacked with patties and bacon. All was tasty and a tad better than expected honestly. Prices have gotten insane though as my meal was pushing $13! Overall, solid BK location when the craving hits!

Uh, ketchup, obviously because I'm grown and I don't need a paper crown, I need condiments. So explain to me WHY I get home, open my bag, and guess what's inside? Not a single drop of ketchup. Not a packet, not a smear, not even the IDEA of ketchup. Just vibes. Why ask me a whole survey question you're not prepared to back up? Don't play with my emotions like that. This is fast food, not a trust exercise. Burger King, I'm gonna need you to stop offering ketchup like it's a luxury item you might bless me with. If I say ketchup, GIVE ME KETCHUP. Period.

It came with sweet potato, mashed and broccoli and a bread basket full of biscuits, which were great, and the lady who took care of us was very nice and they gave us a free piece of apple pie for dessert which is made in the house they did that because we told them we've never been there before which is true so this is an easy five star great little place to stop on the road and very, very reasonably priced

There were a dozen or so tables when we arrived. The hostess sat us in a booth and we were greeted by our server. She was very nice, and took our drink order, and we placed an order for the Crispy Pickle Chips appetizer. She brought our drinks and a short time later our appetizer. The four of us placed our orders: Caesar Salad w/ Grilled Chicken and side of Rice Pilaf, Atlantic Salmon, Classic Cheeseburger, and the "NEW!" Country Fried Steak. The pickle Chips arrived first. They were crispy. Hard and dry with a thick, off-tasting crust which over powered the pickle. They tasted like they were right out of a freezer bag. They came with a ranch-style dipping sauce which couldn't save them from the awful, thick hard crust. Next came our entrees. The Classic Cheeseburger was good, not great, but the best this were were served that evening. It came with French fries which were also good. Next was the Caesar Salad w/ Grilled Chicken and side of Rice Pilaf. The salad was okay but nothing special. A but under dressed as the chicken absorbed a lot of the standard caesar dressing. The rice pilaf barely resembling pilaf. It was missing the basic vegetables which make a pilaf correct and flavorful. the Atlantic Salmon. looked nice but fell short as soon as it was cut into. It was seared on the outside, warm in the center and cooked, but mushy. Seems like it was frozen, microwaved, and then seared on the outside. It was edible not not worth the $20.99 price. Finally cam ethe "NEW!" Country Fried Steak. OMG! It was horrific. When our server stopped by and asked :is everything terrific" I had to speak up. I told her "not exactly". The Cheesy Grits side I ordered were cold and the cheese was absent. She said "I can fix that" and took them away bringing back the dish she took, I could tell as the pepper I sprinkled on top was there, and the dish was hot while the grips lukewarm. They were runny and blank and again . . . no cheese. The grits however paled in comparison to the country fried steak. The heavily breaded perfectly round patty was clearly a frozen ground meat formed patty pulled from the freezer. Fried and covered with a thick, pasty, peppery white gravy made from a mix. I don't mind paying the high prices from this economy, but this meal was an embarrassment. The service was good and the server clearly ashamed of what she was forced to serve, I was shocked that after voicing our disappointment that the manager never even came to our table to apologize, or even try to defend their food. He/She needs to be fired, and at a minimum order, eat, and pay for the meal we had just been served. I invite the CEO, District Manager, and store manager to sit down at one of their restaurants for a meal with me, at my expense. I dare them to eat the meal we paid for and stand behind it as quality food at a fair price. They should be ashamed of themselves.

It's White Castle under a different name . I used to like these when I was in NY but didn't see any down here. They were good except I think they put mustard on their sliders . They're a lot more expensive than WC. I used to get 4 burgers fries and a drink for like 8-9 bucks . They had a 5 burgers fries fries drink for like 16 . That's just crazy . In any event I enjoyed them but not the 18 dollar price including delivery.

We ordered a 12 slider combo which came with two fries and two drinks as well. We were not disappointed! The drive-thru service was friendly and relatively quick even though it was late at night. All of our food was hot and fresh and our order was correct. The sliders were deliciously greasy and onion-y and also come with pickles and mustard (slightly different than a traditional White Castle slider). I actually enjoyed the thicker cut French fries more than White Castle's crinkle cut. All in all, it was precisely what we were craving to take the edge off our hunger post-concert.
