This Wendy's was not up to Wendy's standards today. They overcharged us and the burgers weren't as good as Wendy's burgers usually are. First they tried to charge us over $16 for the order. When we questioned it, they adjusted it to $14.22. They charged $2.99 for a meat patty for out dog. Most fast food restaurants charge between $1 and $1.50. Possibly the people working at the time didn't know what to charge. I don't know what price adjustment they did, but I wouldn't be surprised if they originally charged even more for the dog's patty. read more

I don't typically eat at fast food restaurants and aren't often impressed regardless but wow this Wendy's was top notch! Located inside a gas station/truck stop I wasn't expecting much. Be that there wasn't anything else to choose from in between exits on this long stretch of highway I figured it was best to fill up on fuel and food before the gas tank and my stomach hit E and we were left without options again for the next 300 miles. Mistakenly took advice from a local at a rest stop to "take this shortcut" to avoid Nashville rush hour traffic. Didn't know we would be on a wild goose chase to find civilization again!! LOL Anyways, I was excited to see spicy chicken nuggets on the menu, since for a time those were temporarily removed. I ordered those, along with one of their new lemonade flavors and my usual spicy chicken sandwich. The food came quick and to my surprise was actually HOT! So hot I had to let it cool before my next bite. From my experience, sandwiches at fast food chains often taste like they've been sitting under a warming lamp all day and the bun has the appearance of being more than a day old. Not this establishment!! Everything was fresh as it should be considering Wendy's motto is literally fresh, never frozen and quality is our recipe. Great job guys! Well the place is small and cleaned. The service was sub par. I am one of the fewest Americans that happen to be allergic to raw tomatoes. Well when I ordered My triple classic I told the person behind the counter that I was allergic she said ok. But she never told the rest of the crew. Now I'm allergic to the contamination. It's the acid that tares me up. Well when I asked her to tell the people in the back she rolled her eyes and turned around and finally told them. Service was slow I waited for 20mins. I could not blame the cashier because she literally took our order, went & dropped our fries while she waited on a the cook to make our food. Well upon waiting the drive thru people were standing around on their phones, manager was outside smoking in the front of the building, and other employees were doing absolutely Nothing!! After leaving the major city, it was nice to stop off to a not so busy exit. Pulled up and got gas at pilot, saving about two dollars for being a member. If you aren't a member of Pilot, do it now, because you'll save a lot of money. We decided to go to Wendy's to get something small, very affordable and the workers were fast and wonderful. Service was fine here, can't complain about that. Unfortunately the food was AWFUL! Both hamburgers were loaded with mayonnaise and ketchup to the point of it dripping out and each bite that's all you tasted. They were out of sweet tea and told us to hold on a second while they made it. Than they give us an unsweet tea. And the last thing was there were actual frozen fries mixed in with our fries? Okay so this is a 24 hours truck stop Wendy's open 24 hours. They close the drive though and it's walk in only. After 10 pm there was ONE person working food and register. 27 min for a burger. We would have left but it's literally the only thing open at midnight at podunk ass Gordonsville. The poor woman would take and order and walk back and make it then bring it up and take the next order. This is not a reflection of employees but piss poor management. read more

Stopped by to grab a bite. We placed our order, 4 for 4 and the new burger they had. It took way too long for them to get the order completed for the 5-7 girls working there. We waited for about 15 minutes. Then they didn't give me the entire order. The floor was extremely slick and dangerous. Three words: Open 24 Hours. This meant a lot to me when I was working second shift. Now it doesn't matter unless I get super hungry on a late Friday night for a Baconator. This place has never once messed up a Baconator. "How easy can it be to mess up a Baconator?" you ask? Well, ask the Wendy's on 109 in Lebanon. They've got it down. Props to Gordonsville Wendy's. The food is good for a fast food restaurant but double check your order if you get it to go because several times food was missing! A lot of times the Frosty machine is not working so I go across the street for a Jamocha shake. We will still go there and the staff is always polite! read more
