I work across the street from this Wendy's and eat lunch at least every Friday for my Fast-Food-Friday ritual. I don't know what Wendy's has been doing in terms of hiring the right personnel or other because my experiences in EVERY Wendy's I have been in the past year, has far exceeded ANY OTHER FAST FOOD PLACE. the people in this particular location are prepared for the rush but even take it further when it's a little slower when the manager walks around and offers to empty peoples trays with a genuine smile. I was a 14 year veteran employee of Nordstrom and I know exactly what it takes to provide world-class service. This is not something one would expect at a local Wendy's but they are doing it! Kudos to the manager, kudos to the staff and chef, of course. My #2 medium will continue being sourced every week with pleasure from this location. While in Tamarac we grabbed the kids some lunch and had the worst experience ever in a Wendy's. This does seem to follow this chain all over the area however. They just don't care .... We ordered two orders on mobile app and walked in to find 10 people waiting. We also found the ac to be off and lobby was close to 85 degrees on a hot Florida Summer day. People were complaining they ordered 30 minutes prior and missing meals still. Oh no ..... We got 3 meals and got to table. The main burger on each was completely incorrect. We truly believe it was someone else's order. Double stacks ... nope, one kid got chicken sandwich and other had single burger with lettuce and tomato. My grilled chicken sandwich turned out to be a burger. We took the burger back as something was clearly wrong. They tossed burger out and made chicken Asiago sandwich. The gentlemen was only person really trying and felt bad for him. Another employee was sitting in lobby likely at lunch. Tables were not cleaned and air was clearly off or broken. Several menu items were crossed out on board as unavailable. I do believe any fast food that makes error on their part, should stop throwing food away and comp it or offer the person first. to be honest i'm shocked at the negative reviews when this wendy's is probably one of the best i've been to. yes it's busy during lunch time however not one time have they served me cold/hard nuggets like the other wendy's do. always fresh as well as the burgers & fries. the only thing i will complain about is the limited ketchup they give out. but again the best wendy's i've been to. the drive thru line does get busy & that's normal. look at chick fila lines... the problem is how small the parking lot is. however if you know how to drive, it should be easy for you to maneuver around but others make it more difficult than what it is. read more

Pulling up to the drive through speaker to order and I was ignored for a minute until I said "hello?" and a woman came on the line and said "give me one moment". I didn't mind waiting but tell me upfront instead of me wondering if they're even paying attention to their customers -- which they aren't. I came here to get an apple pecan salad without chicken and had to go back and forth with the manager that it was in fact, a different item from that with chicken with a different price. Today I wanted to stop by for a small chili and waited in the drive-through with one car ahead of me for 20 minutes then when I got to the ordering menu, The lady kept on telling me that she'll be with me in a minute and I waited another five minutes in the rain with the windows down. I got fed up and parked and went inside to complain and then the manager told me that she was doing a shift change and that I would have to wait. I read once that the ice in fast food joints were tested to be dirtier than toilet water. With this knowledge, I still eat at fast food places, but now I just get soda with no ice. So I pull up to Wedy's and there is huge line for the drive thru, so the internal battle of whether or not I want to park and walk my lazy ass inside or sit through the frustrating drive thru persists. Ultimately, I ended up parking and walking inside. When I get to the counter, there is a senior couple, both using walkers, and a black dude whose marijuana cloud took up a 5 foot radius. So I'm thinking "FML, this is going to be a while." So after listening to the old couple change up just about every menu item in their order and the high dude order like one of everything off the dollar menu, about 10 min later, it was finally my turn. Here's how it went down: Weny's girl: "Hi what can I get for you?" Me: "a jr. chocolate frosty please." Wendy's girl: (look of annoyance) "We are out of chocolate frosties" ... WTF?! how can you be out of frosties?! The girl then told me she can make me a vanilla or strawberry frosty shake, so I opted for a strawberry shake. Not what I had in mind, but I was there and just waited a bitchass long time. So I watch as she makes my frosty shake and then I watch as she wipes the outside of the plastic lid with a dirty rag. Now I am not a germaphobe, hell, I'll lick just about anything once, but seeing that grimy rag come so close to my yummy frosty shake just turned my stomach. I shamelessly asked for a new lid when the girl handed me my shake. She did so with a smile, a smile full of tooth decay. In general, this was probably one of the nastiest Weny's I've been in. I have 2 issues. The first is when I walk in and my order wasn't taken. The manager on duty (she was either Caucasian or Hispanic) saw me and instead of assisting me, she continued a non work related conversation with a customer. She didn't say I'll be with you or someone will be with you. I had to ask if the customer had already ordered and could I order. This is by far the fastest, most efficient Wendy's I have ever been to. During the lunch time rush, the drive through and inside lines are very long, but the group working has pushing out burgers down to a science. My orders are always served warm, fast and friendly. It's shocking! I highly recommend this particular Wendy's for a quick weekday lunch. read more
