They called on the first saying she stopped in and saw my order, and explained that they were waiting on delivery on some of the items, and to fulfill my specific order it would be delayed. She gave me different options with different timelines, and in the end it was delivered the same day... on New Year's Day no less, and two days earlier than expected!! Just stellar. With a death of a loved one, timeliness is so very important. So I cannot say enough about how well this was handled, and how appreciative my team and I are of the extra care and diligence this was taken. Thank you Winterville Flower Shop from all of us, including the recipient, who literally just joined our team.

First issue, The flowers arrived and they reeked of…read morecigarette smoke. Once placed in the kitchen it overwhelmed the house. I had to place it outside. Second Issue, I immediately called the delivery driver. He told me one of the florists smoked and this is why. He was lying, unless the florists smoke inside the building when doing the flowers. This was active cigarette smoke, it was like someone was puffing on them. My mom, who got the flowers, noted the driver reeked of smoke too. I imagine he was smoking inside the vehicle when delivering them. I called him, he apologized, and said the manager would call me in a couple of minutes. I wait, I wait, I wait. I text him, he said we need to apply for a refund on the website. I ask for his manager's information. He refused to give me it. I asked when the manager would call me. No response. I called the store where the flowers came from three times during business hours, no response, no voicemail. I drove to the store which was still open (20 minutes each way). Their open sign was on though their door was locked. I left. Third Issue I asked my boyfriend for the receipt, and wow, what I was sent and what he ordered were completely different. Fourth Issue When I FINALLY was able to get through with my calls, I was able to speak to the manager, Tina.I asked if I could share what her product arrived as and my experience, she said no thank you, the company told her I was getting a refund. She was not interested, as a manger, or knowing the low quality I received and the unprofessional ism of the delivery driver. She was not interested. Summary I am not one to write reviews, but when my boyfriend works 60 hours a week, and someone tries to scam him, then I get pissed. He had a hard day and wanted to make me smile. When he found out my experience he was distressed. I am all for having talked with the manager about this dispute person to person, than to write this review, but she clearly showed no interest and I feel like I need to warn people. I am a Greenville local, and I have heard of this place, and this was my first and will be my last last experience with them. Best of luck keeping a store open like this. The manager obviously does not care of the quality of customer service nor product. No apology, no interest in looking into it. My boyfriend ordered from an online flower company that hired the flower basket to do my flowers. The online company provided me a refund, and gave me great customer service. The company responsible can learn from this other company on customer service skills. Cheers.

I wish I could give this florist no stars. My fiancé's parents ordered her the "Lively and Lucious"…read moreflower arrangement. There were several roses in then photo, no balloons, and a clear vase. The flowers we received had 1 rose which was smushed in the middle of other flowers. We didn't know the rose was there until the very rude lady (CAROL) that we talked to at the store told us there was. There were 3 orange balloons (whatever it's fine), and there was a pink vase. We removed the lilies before bringing them in the house because they are toxic to cats and we have 2. The woman we talked to on the phone was extremely rude. CAROL was arguing with my father-in-law and told my father-in-law that he was "retarded" then hung up on him on the phone. They called the store back and they continued to be rude and hung up again. Then we got transferred to corporate I guess or another manager (Zach) who was also very rude. I would just go to another florist in Greenville. It's not worth the hassle of dealing with this company. Edit: I want to edit my review to make things clear. We DID remove 3 lilies from the arrangement. This was not the issue. The issue was there was only 1 Rose when the specific order said "2". I uploaded the picture of the list of flowers supposed to be in it. -The list said "5 fuscia tulips" there were no tulips in the arrangement. -2 pink roses. There was only 1 -1 Mylar balloon. There were 3 regular balloons. -1 white calcinea. There wasn't one white flower in the arrangement. We did NOT ask for a refund. We asked that the arrangement that we receive to match what we ordered. We also didn't ask for CAROL to call someone a "retard" on the phone. Edit 2: We received a new bouquet that was stunning. I am updating the review to reflect this.
