If you are a woman who is on antidepressant medication and this office doesn't know what's wrong with you they'll refer you back to your psychiatrist instead of actually providing care. I'm a grown woman who knows her body and has also managed mental health symptoms. To be dismissed in this way - by a woman no less - was completely inappropriate read more

Seemed amazingly caring -- until she didn't. For both a good friend and me, she was performatively warm as long as our cases followed the medical script she'd already decided on. For both of us, a complex situation made her basically stop communicating with us. In totally unrelated cases, she canceled our appointments last minute & refused to see us, leaving us stranded, after it became clear her treatment plan wasn't getting results. She became disrespectful, icy, negligent and then .. gaslighting and retaliatory. It took me ages to believe this could even be happening because it was so bizarre. Also: receiving a 1990s Xerox of post op care that has jokey to -do instructions like "Make hubby do the vaccuming" is not my idea of contemporary communication. Found a great doc and surgeon in Indy who validated and supported my complex needs with much better medical knowledge and much more confidence-inspiring nuance. I wish I'd not been swept up in the performative warm fuzziness and overstuffed chairs at WKC's. read more

This specifically a review of service. I saw Tara (who evidently no longer works there which I found out today) she was great! This all started about two weeks ago. I realized in opening my last month of meds that I hadn't heard anything about a refill. My meds were coming from an outside pharmacy so I called the office and asked what was going on. They forgot to send in the prescription, it happens okay I moved on. I then get the bill for the meds. I had requested last time I got the meds that a pre authorization form be done because my insurance will cover it with that. Apparently that never got done despite me being told that it did. I then called the pharmacy and had them send the form and then called the Dr office. The office then told me that the pharmacy does that and they don't usually do pre-authorizations. So I went back and forth for a week and a half trying to figure out why this wasn't getting done. Finally today I called the pharmacy and they had been in communication with the office who tried to give them my records over the phone. I didn't understand why this was such a big issue so I called the office again and was then told that "after talking to a drug rep" they don't do pre-authorizations anymore either the insurance covers without it or I pay $56. Which I know isn't that much but I'm in college I don't have an extra $56 to spend every time I need this. I was very confused at why a drug rep was deciding what insurance forms they fill out, but whatever. I then asked if I could get in to see Tara because this isn't going to work. I was then told that Tara no longer works there. Not sure why I wasn't told that the other times I called. I had an appointment scheduled so I don't know when I would've been told. I will be finding a new office. It just felt very unprofessional. Not doing pre-authorizations because a drug rep told you not to. So you're forcing your patients to pay more and preventing them from receiving the full benefits they are entitled to to. Then also not informing them when they're doctor leaves. Again Tara was great. This is an office issue. read more

Dr. Corning is a fantastic practitioner of women's health. I was referred to her by my GP, and from the moment she stepped into the exam room, I felt at ease. Dr. Corning made sure to explain everything to me and answer every single question I had. She was kind, thoughtful, and understanding throughout the procedures I went through. Dr. Corning exceeded my every expectation. I trust her knowledge of women's health and my care with her, 100%. read more

I went to Dr. Corning for three years while I was living in Indiana and liked her so much that when I move to Indianapolis I still drove down to Bloomington rather than find a new OB/GYN. Dr. Corning is professional and has a good bedside manner, always answering any questions and keeping me distracted via humorous and interesting conversation when I had do get uncomfortable procedures done. I'd recommend her to anyone. read more

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Corning and Dr. Goodman as well as surrounding staff. I visited previously to talk about birth control (specifically IUDs and Depo-provera) and I was seen by Goodman. She pushed the IUDs on me and I felt way to pressured to get one at the time. I finally made my decision to go on with the procedure and I called the office today, but I was rudely put off by a male nurse because I expressed a small amount of doubt in my decision. I was told it was "morally wrong" for them to do the procedure now because I was unsure of myself. So I was refused the IUD until my next menses, but I will NOT be going to doctor Corning's practice. read more

I saw Dr.Corning for a routine exam and to discuss birth control options. I get very nervous about gynecological exams but Dr.Corning was tremendously kind, gentle, and friendly. She didn't bat an eyelash at my husband being present for the exam and made us both very comfortable to ask any questions, without ever feeling silly or stupid. She is an excellent physician and a kind person. read more

I found Dr. Corning after my doctor quit performing surgery and I needed a hysterectomy! I am so very thankful a friend recommended her! The entire process has been so much better thanks to her. She's professional, yet has amazing bedside manner. I cannot imagine this process with anyone else and after years of fertility and problems with endometriosis, I have seen my fair share of gynecologists and have had multiple procedures! So thankful to have found her. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Not only did I wait in my room for an hour without seeing anyone, they mailed my bills to the incorrect address and failed to call me to tell me I had a bill so now I'm dealing with a debt collector. If you don't want my situation to happen to you PLEASE do not go to this doctor. I have never had issues with a doctor and this is the worst doctor in Bloomington. read more

Wendy delivered our second son flawlessly in a planned C section. She also performed other surgeries for my wife with exacting results. She is both highly professional and very personable. We bet our lives on her and she shines in dark, tough times. read more

NEVER EVER get an IUD here! Mine was put in while I was there because I thought I had an infection! For the next 3 months I had a weird yellow discharge and got prescribed antibiotic 4 times for even though they did nothing! I told the nurse practitioner TWICE that I was having a weird pain in my upper right abdominal (consistant with PID) and she did nothing, but say that if I had PID I'd be screaming in pain. ( This is not true, seeing as it can be classified as severe, ACUTE, or asymptomatic). Also wanted to get boric acid since I was consistently getting BV and since I tested positive she wouldn't get it for me and just gave me more antibiotics, but they never talk to you themselves on the phone. Anyway, finally switched to Dr. Richey and he actually listened and gave me an ultrasound. Turns out my IUD had most likely never been perfectly in place, and the last time I went the nurse practitioner yanked it significantly out of place because I felt it and my bf commented how my strings felt much longer that night. Just don't go here, all they do is take your money. read more
