A woman ( Deborah) answered the phone and she was out of breath and I started to inquire about an appointment and she said, "hold on". She gets back on the line and her first question is what type of insurance I have. I tell her its MVP. She says loudly "that insurance is AWFUL" (I went without medical insurance for 15 years) who the hell does this bitch Deborah thinks she is? She continues to tell me how awful my insurance is, they have 2 existing clients with this type of awful insurance and she cannot get the company to pay her. She tells me that it is the worst insurance out there. I was starting to get pissed off. I booked the appointment out of sheer pain but called later to cancel as I am not going to subject myself to being treated like shit by Deborah, the crazy bitchy receptionist. I did call NYCC and they are more than willing to accept my business and work with my insurance. Epic FAIL.

A week prior to us visiting Dr. Lowry we visited another chiropractor who provided us with very minimal care and very high fees. Dr. Lowry had great empathy towards our situation and suggested we come to his office. Do to the large sum of money that we had spent at the previous chiropractor, Dr. Lowry understood and explained that he could provide treatment in a way that we could afford. Going to his office for the first time I felt very welcomed and the office was well organized and displayed a slide show of information on what their office provides. We filled out the personal records through an iPad, which I found to be easier and environmentally friendly. At the beginning of the visit the receptionist brought us to a room with a massage chair where my girlfriend enjoyed a massage for over 10 mins. Immediately after the massage Dr. Lowry came into the room and introduced himself. We had engaged with each other previously through social media (instagram) so he was already prepared with the case at hand. With that being said he still took additional notes and then we proceeded to the treatment room. In the room he provided several means of treatment ranging from; chiropractic adjustments, orthopedic examinations, soft tissue massage, cold laser therapy, extreme-vibration technology as well as kinesiology tape. All of which felt great for my girlfriend and provided relief just after the first visit. He additionally prescribed a few at home exercises to further help with my girlfriends issue. Overall we had a great experience and will be returning for weekly visits until the issue is resolved. Dr. Lowry has displayed the true benefits of what Chiropractic Medicine can offer. This is what every patient should receive when they visit a chiropractor. Thank you for your service and we look forward to returning soon!
