Two appointments later, the receptionist informed me that they do NOT take my insurance -- this despite asking two more times whether they accepted my insurance company (one of these conversations was verified by the neighbor who drove me to the appointment). The receptionist also photocopied my insurance card. I then had to wait three weeks to get in with another PT office -- three weeks which set my recovery back, and required me to go back on pain meds to cope with discomfort. Yesterday, I received a bill for the two sessions I had, despite the fact their receptionist made the error. I'd give them zero stars if I could (who knew you actually need written proof when asking if a medical office accepts specific insurance companies?).
