I first met Wendy in February 2015. She reached out to me via email (through a dear friend) while I was in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant. She generously offered to come to the hospital and treat me to a Reiki session. I was open to the idea and offer, but not knowing anything about Reiki healing, I asked if we could meet over lunch after I returned home and learn a bit more about her practice. From that very first lunch I felt completely safe with her and it was obvious that her insight and perspective was right on time. In November 2013, I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and given three weeks to live. That began my terrorizing odyssey of facing death and dying, complete with nine heart stoppages, 11 hospitalizations and culminating in being fitted with an artificial heart. A heart transplant was my only chance of survival. Over the next 6 months, Wendy and I met a couple times a month, as I was introduced to a brand new understanding of energy and healing. It's fascinating to me, always being an open book, how difficult it was to share my most intimate fears with the people closest to me. But, with Wendy I was able to pour out all that toxicity and ask the most difficult questions. Not only did she have the answers I was longing for, but she taught me how to recognize, harness and trust my energy. I believe she is largely responsible for preparing me spiritually to have received this ultimate gift that beats in my chest today. It wasn't long into our friendship that Wendy could see and feel a heaviness I was carrying concerning my soul brother and world renowned chef, Kerry Simon. He was in a two year war with the crippling effects of Multiple Systems Atrophy, MSA. Wendy offered to come out to his Malibu home and see how she could help. Knowing that Kerry was exposed to every cutting-edge therapy and a huge proponent of Reiki, we arranged the first of multiple sessions. There is no possible way for me to accurately describe with words how powerful and moving it was witnessing Wendy treating Kerry. I will say that I had not seen his face so relaxed and peaceful in years and afterwords he was so calm, lighter and playful. It was such a joy to see and feel Kerry's warrior spirit being fed and the sparkle back in his eyes. And the thing that is nothing short of miraculous to me and everyone present that day, was that Wendy detected a potentially painful and troublesome area in Kerry's upper abdomen. Consequently, she suggested that Kerry's girlfriend/caretaker perform a specific energy healing exercise multiple times a day and to have it checked out further by his clinicians. Two days later when his doctors examined him they diagnosed an upper abdominal infection and blockage that was life-threatening if not treated immediately. I will be forever grateful for Wendy's wisdom and healing presence during the darkest and most frightening moments of my life. My brother Kerry has moved on to his next spiritual incarnation...no doubt more comfortable and better prepared. Thank you, Wendy. So how do I "review" Wendy Both? If i hadn't have seen it with my own eyes i wouldn't have believed it! My daughter and i rescued a sweet little puppy from Wags amd Walks and he was found living under a 405 fwy underpass only a few months old. He had a great personality to start which is why we got him, but it was clear once we got him home he was a nervous wreck! He was literally afraid of his own shadow, on walks at night he would freak, during the day leaves blowing in wind would stop him in his tracks and if a plastic bag blew around in the wind it would paralyze him with fear. We tried trainers for these and a variety of issues ge had, but his nervousness and fear never seemed to change much over the course of the first bunch if weeks, until Wendy. She came to our house one afternoon and Scout was immediately drawn to her and sat with her right away while we talked about some of his bigger issues and she let him get comfortable and relaxed around her in preparation for his treatment. Within a few minutes of talking she said ok she is ready to start. When i asked if we should turn off the phone ringers and TV etc and keep the house quiet she said that wont be necessary. That was an understatement. She prepared herself in some Reiki way and then put her hands near his body and he immediately laid down and got relaxed. Within seconds he had closed his eye tightly and within minutes was twitching. For most dogs this wouldn't seem like weird behavior, but Scout was scared of ALL strangers and was on guard whenever someone new was in the house, so this was odd. They remained in this position for about 40 mins and Wendy said ok i am done, and stayed next to Scout a bit longer. As we were saying goodbye and were moving out of that room it was clear that Scout was not following us, very unlike him as he is attached to me like glue since the rescue. His eyes were tightly shut, still lying in his back, seemingly in a drug induced coma. He barely twitched and didn't move much for hour after hour. If we walked through the kitchen maybe an eye would partially open and he would be back asleep seconds later. If he heard something his ear might move for a second then OUT COLD again. We could NOT believe that almost five hours went by with people walking in and out of the room and this high alert alarm protector was silenced. When he finally did wake up and start staggering around he seed like he had been slipped some meds and was trying to eat but really couldn't muster the strength. He was clearly affected Needles to say he has been a changed puppy ever since, calm and happy and playful as a puppy should be. Not the frightened little mess that we first got and we cant thank Wendy enough for what she has done for Scout and the whole family. Thanks again Wendy you're the best!! read more

Wendy is incredible. Her power to heal with Reiki is simply amazing. I have been witnessing her work from afar in NYC, watching her heal a multitude of dogs, horses, & even lizards - one that actually came to her with a torn tail. But what really astonished me was the story of Little Bear. A small dog that was mauled by another dog. He had puncture wounds over his entire body - bruised, swollen and lacerated. He had lost a lot of blood and was severely swollen. It was all touch and no go for days. When a life-threatening bacterial infection lessened his chances of survival, I sent Wendy a message asking if she could send Little Bear as much energy as possible. He needed a miracle to pull through. If he could make it through the night with his body accepting the antibiotics, he would live. If not, unfortunately his fight would come to an end. Wendy worked her magic. The next day, the report came back that indeed he had survived and his body had accepted the treatment. Everyone had concluded that it was a miracle!! But I knew behind Little Bear's fight there was another force at work....Wendy's Reiki treatment. Not only is Wendy an amazing healer, she is one of the most kind people I have ever met. One of my doggies "Spotty" recently got bit by a spider. I had to take to him to the Vet right away to get antibiotics. I didn't know how Poisonous the spider was. After we got back home he was very uneasy and acting very uncomfortable. I hear about Reiki from a friend.. I wasn't sure about it, because i never heard about it. I decided to contact the Reiki lady (Wendy) anyways.... She was so lovely! My doggies immediately were drawn to her. She took spotty to my room and started doing her Reiki magic... he even feel asleep. After she left he stop scratching and he healed within days. She was amazing! Will defiantly use her again. Wendy is amazing! She got in contact with my 43 year old brother with Down Syndrome. He doesn't speak and it's difficult to understand what he wants and feels. The last 3 months he lost a lot of weight because he doesn't want to eat more than once a day. Specialists in hospital couldn't find a physical problem. And we didn't know what to do. Two weeks ago Wendy got in contact with him from a distance, since our home is in the Netherlands. And now we understand him for the first time. It's a comfort my dad (who past away 16 years ago) is with him to guide him. I told my brother I understood what he was going true and it's amazing, three days ago he started eating! My Pitbull is getting old and is losing function in her hind section. I have always done energy work on her, her whole life. The first thing Wendy says as she starts to work on her is she has a very male energy. I am a male- thinking Lucy has become a receptacle for the energy with a Pisces moon. Her sensitivity to energies is impressive and her ability to focus the Reiki energy through her with such laser focus also. After her session Lucy was very serene for at least the next 24 hours and in the following days had several pee's where i did not have to hold her up.
