I really didn't even want to give them 1 star.... With that being said, it's really sad that a newspaper as big as Wenatchee World and well known would be so one sided when it comes to news... But that doesn't surprise me one bit... What does surprise me and grinds my gears is the fact that local public news isn't in fact public at all!! You have to have a subscription of some kind to read anything WW prints. And the prices are ridiculous! Even before Covid they were getting out of hand but now.... Geez! Pfft!! I just wanted to make a comment to 'someone' at Wenatchee World. I was passed around because I guess they were too busy to hear a paying customer's thoughts or just didn't want to hear it? I've lived all over this country as well as in Canada and Mexico, and I've always subscribed to the "local" paper. The Wenatchee World is the best newspaper published anywhere! The editorial page is well balanced with opinions from all over the political spectrum. Local businesses and nonprofit organizations from all over NCW are well supported in this news paper. In 10 minutes one can scan the national and international news, and cover what might take half an hour in the NYT or WSJ. There will be slight inaccuracies of spelling and fact, just like in any paper, but over all, there just isn't any better way to stay informed than by subscribing to The Wenatchee World. read more

Very unhappy my 90 year old mother had to cancel her subscription due to poor delivery service. Repeatedly asked to have paper put on porch; instead paper repeatedly dropped in wet grass or street gutter. So sad. read more

I have a sunday subscription to the world, mostly for the tv guide and the sunday funnies. they rarely screw up the funnies BUT, the tv guide is absolutely worthless, in addition to the fact there is no news worth reading. I have called and written letters complaining about those items and about poor delivery service. apparently the world's attitude is "who cares. we're the only game in town." one would think they would take a little pride in what they publish. one would think. read more

Our home delivery has gone from bad to worse! Missed delivery in the past two weeks, totals four and that's bad enough however when I call the WW, I have NEVER received a return call back and the same for email correspondence! Over the past year, we have missed delivery's more times than I care to count! It rather obvious the paper is very poorly managed. read more
