I went to the ER twice while in Wenatchee over the course of 1 week and absolutely every nurse, doctor, triage, and check in people I dealt with were extremely nice and caring. I felt very comfortable when they took the time to listen to my medical problem and follow the protocol my doctors have in place from Kansas. Thank you guys for all your help.

While I was in Room 20 on the second floor, I could clearly hear the doctor-patient conversation in the room next to me. I raised the concern during my visit and was told the sound machine in the room is there because this is a known issue. My doctor also told me he had already raised the issue with Confluence management, no action had been taken, and he would mention it again. When I asked if it was just this room, he said no, it was every room.

When I arrived, everyone was so prompt on getting things moving fast for me to ensure I was reassured my baby was okay and that I was okay too since I was feeling like cramping in my right side. My nurse Judy, Lisa, Brenna and another nurse that I hate that I didn't get her name but these gals were so amazing. They truly reassured me constantly despite me feeling so anxious that I was going to be okay. They admitted me for infection which I was not expecting and it turned into a 3 day stay, but despite that, they ensure to keep me hydrated, I felt heard and involved in my care. Dr Wells and Dr Marbett were amazing. I was a little upset about waiting on Dr wells all day to find out if I was staying another night or not especially since I was 3 1/2 hours from home and was eager to get back, but he apologized for the delay and was very kind. He was the on call doctor for the emergency room, mother baby, and labor & delivery so he was super busy all day unfortunately which is no fault to him at all. Some days you can't predict how busy you'll be. Dr wells ended up visiting me at 11pm while I was resting, but he was super kind about waking me up and gave me a reassuring update. The following day, he was very was very prompt on getting to me nice and early to ensure I was still okay and agreement with our plan for me to discharge which I was very eager for. My baby did cause us to have a little scare and contractions were happening prior to my discharge but Dr Peterson reassured me a lot and answered all of my questions so I could start on my trek home. Everyone here was so kind and considerate. I can't rave enough about their Mother/Baby department.

I have never been seen by this doctor before, but this hospital should retain his services as he was attentive and cared about helping me. I live with chronic pain in my lung due to past P.E.'s lobectomy, and so many surgeries and procedures, and the last few experiences I was treated like a junky looking for a fix, even though they can see my history. In the past they did not listen to me as far as what helps me with my pain and by difficulty breathing. I only go if it has been out of control for a few days or more and keeps me from even getting any sleep. As I have been dealing with this for over a decade, I know what helps and what doesn't, but by telling them what helps, they have treated me like a junky and not given me the care I need to relieve my pain. For the first time I saw somebody that listened and reviewed my history and who's main goal was to help me breathe better and get out of/reduce my pain so I could finally get much needed rest. Dr Vance Rothmeyer was outstanding. He was able to help by listening to my needs and treating me like a human being in pain vs a drug seeker like some others do. I am sure they do deal with people that do go in just for a fix, and I can't tell you how humiliating it is to go in for help and just be treated like a junky. For those of us in real need of pain relief with real chronic pain I am sure you have had to deal with Dr's that judge and don't listen. I can't thank you enough for your help Dr Rothmeyer. For the first time in a very long time, I received the care I needed. The nursing staff at this hospital has always been top notch. It has only been the ER docs that have treated me this way, regardless of my wife being there to help advocate for my needs and a history to back it up. Because of Dr Rothmeyer and as always, the nursing staff, my hope in getting the care I need at this hospital has been somewhat restored. This usually happens to me a couple times a year, so I just hope other ER doctors can learn from this man. When being in pain all the time, it is not just the pain, but the mental aspect of dealing with it. Anxiety, depression, insomnia, etc... So, they don't only help with the pain, but with everything else as well. It is torture dealing with this. I can't thank you enough for your care.

Dr Rothmeyer was empathetic and professional. An excellent physician. My nurse Shirley, was spectacular! She was caring and made me feel relaxed. Very professional. My last visit to this ER, I was treated by the rudest nurse I have ever seen in 45 years. Rural hospitals are challenged, I have lived it. Kudos to Chelan for a very professional visit.
