The WRU Store is the main shop to serve the Principallity Stadium, home of the Welsh national football and rugby teams, this is where tours of the stadium begin and the place where you can buy tickets, as well as all your Welsh rugby gear, as far as I'm aware JD Sports have an exclusive right to sell Wales' shirts, so not even this store or Adidas who produce the kits can sell them, which after Wales' performance in the Euro 2016, including a fantastic 2-1 defeat in the Group Stages against England, they must surely regret this now.
The server did seem nice, he tried his best to go as fast as he could as it was only him working, the store didn't have a nice feel to it, it just was a quiet, old building.
It was also frustrating that there was a lift to get into the store which is away from the counter and can only be operated by someone who isn't in the lift, making it near impossible for someone visiting on there own in a wheelchair, or for a parent with a pram who doesn't want to leave there child alone and then struggle to get them out of the lift.
The store is quite small but does seem to stock both the home and away shirts for Welsh Rugby but still due to the vibe and atmosphere of the store and the access issue, I sadly feel it lets a great stadium like the MilleniumPrincipallity Stadium down and hence deserves a single one star. read more
