One of my favorite parts each week is picking up my kids from the children's area...my oldest talks about everything she learned and experienced. It's clear the team pours so much love and care into the next generation. The messages are always firmly grounded in Scripture, and right now the church is walking through an amazing spiritual campaign on The Holiness of God, which has been both challenging and encouraging for our family. We're proud to plant our roots here and be part of a community that is passionate about faith, growth, and seeing lives transformed. Thankful!

It was…read moreheld outside by candlelight and afterwards there was a small reception with cookies and hot chocolate. This is a very warm and festive church . We were welcomed by the congregation in the minister and introduced to other families in the area. We feel it's very family-friendly there's a preschool and small daycare also attached very well cared for well-established ministry for the whole family. We also have a Boy Scout troop here that needs weekly and it's well lit at night plenty of resource rooms for the kids and us to hold our meetings in.

I enjoy receiving my kids school work from their school projects. These skills helped my children with the learning process needed for kindergarten. In addition, the teachers are bilingual and my children even learned some Spanish for free :-). I am so lucky to have found a church/VPK that programs that uphold Christian beliefs, values and practices. Not to mention, their aftercare prices can not be beat!!!

I'm happy to say we found it here! Calvary Lutheran has not 1, but 2 EXCELLENT pastors that I always enjoy hearing their message. They also have a great minister of music! It's a couple of minutes it's probably the length of a city block and it's done and stations were each station is narrated by volunteers dressed in the periods clothing. They tend to always have a newborn baby portray the Christ child each year. There is also a welcome reception following to recruit new members to the church with Small refreshments. There is no cost for this is simply a service to out reach the community and get a new membership. In the live nativity its done nicely where there are props set up to depict different parts of the story until you reach the manager.

My family that doesn't live in Riverview tune in virtually on Sundays on YouTube. Service is quick yet fulfilling. Pastor keeps it real, relatable and relevant. I love the marriage ministry which extends to date nights, trips and marriage conferences. My favorite part of it all is the church's spirit of humility, excellence and service.
