Jason Wells of Wells Law was amazing as my attorney. By the time I found Wells Law, I had already been dealing with the rollercoaster that is Worker's Comp for nearly two years by myself. Prior to having an attorney, I did not know what to expect. You always hear horror stories about workers comp, but you tend to think " that won't happen to me". Guess what friends, it can and it will without an attorney having your back. I called Well's Law office after a particularly unsavory incident with the insurance company. I was DONE;at my witts end. Totally ready to just walk away and live with my injury as is. Jason met with us(spouse and myself) and immediately took control of my case, cleaned up loose ends and messes and got the insurance company to take action. To sum it up, he kicked their butts into gear and made sure I got the care I needed. After he took control as my attorney, I did not have to stress over communicating with the insurance company, making all my own appointments, finding doctors and/or specialists on my own, paying out of pocket for bills and hoping they reimbursed, etc. I didn't have to communicate with someone from the insurance company who made me feel as if I'm just a thorn in their side, just looking for drugs or a payout any longer. After I fell at my job 2 times within a month, and was disappointed with the way I was being treated I started looking for a lawyer to protect me. I felt like I was being bullied by the corporation. I had a complicated case, but Wells Law took me on as a client anyway. Jason is an excellent negotiator and will fight for your rights. Paperwork was processed in a timely manner, and I was always alerted when I needed to take action on something. Jason worked with me to ensure that my needs were being advocated for, and was respectful of my decisions. It is not fun to have to file against an employer, but a permanent injury is a big deal and I would have had a hell of a time trying to advocate for myself. Without Wells Law, I am fairly certain I would have suffered more poor treatment by my medical provider, and would have left the case with a fraction the money I received otherwise.
