My Citibank acct was frozen..I could not withdraw one dollar nor close the acct. I am a 71 yr old senior living alone in a mobilehome. I have no living family or any friends to help me. It is now the middle of the month and they are going to "try" to get it expedited by getting a fixer assigned in 7 instead of the now normal 21 days. It seems that they have a magic time machine to go backwards. This all has to do with transferring the assets in the account to my name from my deceased wife. Sooo there is no question of the outcome except this............. In the mean time the funds are not being productive for me and since Schwabb is doing this to many others how much are they increasing their own profits by collecting interest on the funds? I wonder if this is a case of incompetence or corruption? This company appears to be limping along and perhaps it is ready to go out of business.
