I came while visiting family to help pick out their Christmas tree. This was such a fun experience! They were ready to educate you and help you understand the different kinds of trees they offered and why you might purchase one versus the other. Also, there is an opportunity to cut your own tree or to choose from their pre-cut selections. They had live music the weekend we were there (Thanksgiving weekend) as well as Santa, food trucks, and an indoor space with restrooms and hot chocolate. read more

Absolutely the Best Christmas Tree Experience in Oklahoma! My family moved to Norman in 2023, and this is now our third year choosing Wells Christmas Tree Farm - we're officially hooked! From the moment you arrive, it feels like a true holiday tradition. There are food trucks, fun activities for the kids, beautiful scenery, great selection of trees and that perfect Christmas atmosphere. Every family is met by a staff member who walks you through the whole process - choosing, cutting and loading your tree. This year we pre-ordered for the first time, and it was a game-changer: lightning-fast, stress-free, and still just as magical. The owner, Jesse, is hands-on and you can really tell he cares about customer's experience. You can tell he's poured his heart into this place with new additions each year and has trained both his year-round and seasonal staff to deliver the same warm, top-notch service. I always go big on the tree (10-12 feet), and this year I ran into trouble with my stand. Jesse didn't hesitate - he personally drove out to our house with a new heavy-duty stand and helped set the tree up himself. That's next-level care you just don't find anymore.area. If you're looking for a memorable family outing that becomes part of your Christmas tradition, Wells Christmas Tree Farm is hands-down the best choice in the area. Highly, highly recommend this business - we will be back every year! . read more

We came a public event at Well's Family Tree farm to receive some Virginia pine bare root seedlings. Jesse met us at the gate and explained the tree farm operations and care for the trees. He was very thorough and friendly throughout our entire conversation. We loved learning about the vision for their farm and for the trees they are graciously sharing with the public. Jesse dug up 8 trees for us to take home. We have land with a plan to build about 6 miles away from the tree farm and we cannot wait to get our trees in the ground and start the next chapter. I highly recommend connecting with the tree farm as they offer a wide variety of events and services beyond simply Christmas trees. Our experience at the seedling event has encouraged us to be frequent customers of their tree farm! read more

Wells' Family Christmas Tree farm is something special. As you would expect, this family-owned local business provides you not just with a tree to take home, but also the experience of picking just the right tree for your family's Christmas celebration. They carry a large assortment of trees and wreaths, varying in size, species, and even have novelty painted trees. You'll be able to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate near the camp-fire or even get your picture taken in their life-size snow globe or with their 1963 Ford Econoline Pickup. You may come for a tree, but you'll make it part of your family's tradition because of the experience. Oh, Wells also hosts many events throughout the year, include puppy yoga and movie nights under the stars. These are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. It's a beaut, Clark! Last night, my husband and I went to the tree farm for an outdoor movie; Christmas Vacation. We hadn't been before, but we were in mind to try something different for a date night. As the weather was expected to be in the 40s temp., we donned our plaid shirt jackets, gloves, caps, etc. we took a large heavy blanket and some old fashioned thermos bottles full of decaf coffee. Once there, we felt like we stepped into quite an experience. The movie was showing and there were nice rows and rows of camping chairs full of people intently watching. (We arrived a few minutes late). What was strange is that it was eerily quiet! We found a place to spread our blanket and then settled in to watch. We laughed out loud at all the many parts that were so funny, however no one else laughed! How could this be?!? It was so silent. If it wasn't so cold you would have heard crickets! We continued to laugh, trying not to break the spell everyone was under. During the movie, we grabbed two sandwiches and two waters from the food truck.. Almost $25! They were okay, but too high for the quality. Also, we were very excited about having a hot piece of pie and sipping coffee. This food truck only served cold, cream pies. While very good, not ideal for this outdoor weather. The tree farm had a large fire pit. If you needed to warm a bit. Overall, we had a great time sitting outdoors, laughing (albeit alone and surrounded by ghostly figures wrapped in blankets all slumped in chairs), and sipping coffee while watching a great Christmas classic. The event was extremely well organized. Thank you to the Wells family for making this possible. We would definitely recommend, and perhaps make this a new tradition! We'll bring friends next time! By the way.... Why is the picnic blanket all wet, Todd?!? read more

This place is so special. When you first drive in, you immediately get a good feeling. The tree farm is so cute and their staff is super friendly and welcoming. My kids love playing with the bean bag toss game and ping pong at the ping pong table that is set up. We went last year for the first time and seriously got the best tree we've ever bought. It was a great price, it was beautiful, and it lasted a long time. We just got our trees tonight and I can't wait to get home to decorate. We love The Wells Family Tree Farm!! A definite holiday must! read more

The whole experience is pretty amazing! Great setting, family friendly, and the selection was broad! They have the neatest camper snack shop set up that sold cocoa, cider, coffee and some tasty treats. Their apparel is so comfy, washes great and was a staple in my winter wardrobe this past year! Did I mention how great the people own Wells Family Christmas Tree Farm and the crew they've got working for them? They love what they do and it's infectious! There's a real Christmas spirit at the Farm! So come out for cocoa, settle in for some cozy fun and take home your new tree! Great place with great people. Couldn't ask for better service. I heard they are having pumpkins this year too. The young man that helped us even took the tree we got, wrapped it so it wouldn't get damaged on the way home and helped load it too. We will be back and recommend them to all friends and family. read more

We have always purchased live trees for Christmas but usually from the local big hardware and home stores. It was a always a battle between going early to get the best selection and going later to have the tree last without drying out. This year, we went to the Wells Family Christmas Tree Farm. Not only did we find the perfect tree, it was in its own container standing upright so that was beautifully shaped and the tree was absolutely fresh and supple. And it was still fresh in January when we took it down. Truly the best tree we've ever had. We will definitely be back this year! read more
