I went to dr Karly for several years and she is great! I moved to Waco and only found one…read morechiropractor that could compare with her and he has since retired. I went to many chiropractors and have not found a replacement. Her care is excellent, her office help are very kind and helpful. I plan to come to drive from Waco to Bryan for treatments and it will be well worth it. I am almost 78 years old and the spine and legs are not what they used to be I look forward to the treatment I receive from dr Karly.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND A HACK…read more Karly is nothing short of a scam, and a brash one at that. I started seeing her during the peak of Covid because I was in need of some maintenance work on my neck and back with how much I was riding horses. Not only did she never wear a mask or practice Covid precautions, she was also proud of it. She talked loudly and frantically about politics, unsolicitedly and constantly. She openly bashed any political views that were not her own, in the middle of adjusting me, with literally nothing to jumpstart that kind of conversation and knowing literally nothing about me (spoiler alert: she had no idea that she was trashing my personal beliefs, but unlike her, I keep them private and don't feel the need to yell about them- especially not in my workplace?) Wait times in the office were always abysmal- I'd have to block out way more time than just my appointment time because her clients get so backed up, all because she wants to monologue about unrelated topics and vent about her personal life to her clients for 30 minutes each. Half the reason I wanted to go to her office was because she had an in-house massage therapist, but she ran off two of them in the time that I was a client there. She seemed to wear those poor ladies absolutely ragged. In complete fairness, the massage therapists I saw were both absolutely wonderful- they were respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. The receptionists and techs were also all wonderful- I can't recall a time that I had a bad experience with any other staff member except Karly. I stopped seeing her for a while because she was just so miserable to be around, but found myself in need of one more adjustment to tide me over until I found someone new. I tried to call the office several times to make an appointment (like, no less than 10 times), during business hours, and the phone rang until voicemail each and every time. When the voicemail box wasn't full/declining messages, I left a message with my name, number, and that I needed to schedule an appointment. I left multiple messages across a couple of weeks. Never heard a peep back from them. So much for scheduling an appointment. If you're gonna go to this office, clear your schedule for her monologuing and bring earplugs for the sheer volume that she speaks at. Genuinely terrible experience.

I have never been disrespected so badly at a doctor's office before my experience today at this…read moreoffice. I had an appointment with Dr. Rick Seabolt and his nurse, Jamie (front desk told me that was her name) for hip stiffness. The front desk ladies were very nice when I checked in for my appointment. When Jamie came and got me to take me back she immediately said we'll take x-rays of my hips, and I was confused as to why we would jump to x-rays when I hadn't talked to her or the clinician as to why I was there. She said that was how they normally did things, and I continued asking questions because I was simply confused at what the cost would be and why x-rays were indicated. She was off-put by my questions, said I could talk to the doctor first, and put me in an exam room and left the door open. She walks off to a desk nearby next to a 2nd woman and proceeds to mock me in a cruel tone with rude gestures by saying "I refuse to take x-rays without speaking to the doctor first". I was so shocked in seeing them continue to talk horribly about me, they then both turn to look at me, see that I just saw that whole interaction, and the 2nd woman approaches immediately justifying why they do x-rays first. I said ok I was just confused and concerned with what the extra cost would be for them, and this woman became increasingly more rude and aggressive in how she was talking to me and started to talk over me (sadly, I did not get her name to mention in this review). At the end of the conversation I said ok I'll take the x-rays now before seeing the doctor, feeling completely blindsided by this horrible interaction, then Jamie came back into the room to take my history. I was so incredibly dumbfounded that this just happened and I told her I do not appreciate the aggressiveness and rudeness that just occurred. She brushed it off and left me to wait for the doctor. Dr. Seabolt was very nice and we had a brief conversation why I was there and what value x-rays would do for my visit. I mentioned to him I was confused about taking x-rays first, but did not tell him the rude interaction that just occurred. After the x-rays he gave me suggestions for 2 stretches for my hips and then I left. Overall, I will not be going back to this office. Horrible, horrible experience.

I have never had an experience -- whether with medicine, a restaurant, a haircut, or even a dog…read morewalking service -- so substandard that I've felt compelled to write a review. I grew up and spent nearly two decades in the B/CS area and have had almost uniformly positive healthcare experiences -- until my visit to this facility. If you're searching for an orthopedist, I strongly urge you to research other options or consider driving to Houston or Austin. It would be well worth a 2+ hour drive to avoid the experience I had. I injured my knee while skiing and had seen both an urgent care provider and my PCP -- both of whom provided more helpful and, most importantly, compassionate care. I saw Dr. Laura Marsh on March 6. After initial intake with a nurse, I was seen by a resident who performed standard knee exams (e.g., Lachman, anterior drawer) and used an ultrasound to confirm effusion. He recommended an MRI. I waited about 20 more minutes before Dr. Marsh arrived. She spent -- and I checked -- no more than four minutes with me. Her rushed, impersonal approach made me feel like my injury wasn't worth much attention. She confirmed I needed an MRI but gave little guidance on how to care for my knee (e.g., icing, NSAIDs, weight-bearing, physical therapy) and left before I could raise questions about my travel schedule and other concerns. I got an MRI the following Monday and was informed when I called -- I believe by a receptionist, since the nurse was unavailable -- that I had torn my ACL. I received no additional guidance on next steps or how to manage the injury, beyond needing to now see an ortho surgeon. The MRI report itself lacked detail, and I had many follow-up questions. I saw several other providers and a PT (outside this facility), who all told me that the report was lacking in detail. When a nurse called me later that day to give me the results of the report (since I couldn't reach her earlier in the day), I told her my questions and she said she would relay them to Dr. Marsh -- but I never heard from the doctor directly. Later that week, another nurse called to say Dr. Marsh had reviewed the MRI. Again, I had questions that the nurse couldn't answer and would have to forward to Dr. Marsh. I don't understand why Dr. Marsh couldn't have taken five minutes to speak with me at any point throughout this process. Instead, I was forwarded to the clinical director, who eventually answered many of my questions but downplayed my concerns, saying Dr. Marsh "spends the most time with patients." This person also promised to send me a knee care guide (which I have yet to receive). Not every staff member created a poor experience -- the resident, the nurse I saw before the resident, and the MRI tech were all wonderful. But my experience with Dr. Marsh made this unnecessarily difficult. This was my first serious medical incident, and it was made worse by the poor care I received. I'm fortunate to have good insurance and that ACL injuries have many online resources -- but if you were dealing with a more complex or serious condition, I can't imagine how difficult this facility would make things for you. I strongly recommend avoiding this facility -- especially Dr. Marsh. The lack of communication, follow-through, and empathy is simply not worth your time.
