Nurse staff was very friendly. However when the provider came in he was terrible. I understand that being a doctor is very stressful but he came in holding a phone and looked so rushed and was horribly inconsiderate of my condition. He looked at my test for the flu and then came back and touched my leg (without consent or telling me that he was going to for medical reasons) multiple times and told me that I don't have the flu. I had expressed concern about having a sinus infection too, and this was completely disregarded because he seemed too busy to care. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. During a recent visit, the behavior of one of the providers came across as very creepy and unprofessional, making the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe. If you're a woman, I'd strongly recommend considering another option before coming here. Conduct, care, and overall experience was extremely disappointing to say the least. The coordination of the medical staff with what our insurance covered was non-existent. The patient went in for what was thought to be a UTI. First test came back negative. Dr ordered 4 additional tests with outside labs which is fine. However, two of those labs were "out of network" for our BC/BS coverage. Those two tests cost us $756.00. When we challenged the billing people with Wellnow they said there is nothing they can do. As a result, I will not recommend this Lockport facility to anyone. If you need treatment in Lockport and you can't get into your primary doctor, go to the Lockport Hospital ER. read more

Great care super fast and saved me a ton of money! My hand got shut in a door. I thought it was broken but not sure. My insurance costs $500 to go to the ER and $70 to go to an Urgent care. I called ahead of time and asked if they would be able to x-ray and care for me before I went in. They answered the questions they could over the phone and I was able to get in right away. I was there less than an hour in total. Staff were great, super friendly and very knowledgeable. Talked through things trying to help me figure out my best plan of action. I left with a smile on my face and was very well taken care of. read more

The past two times I tried to go to urgent care I went at 8 (says that's they open at 8) and the doors were never unlocked. I waited in the parking lot till 820 and still doors not unlocked. I left. The time prior to this I made an appointment then got an email there was no service provider on site that day, well that's no help then. Sooo unhelpful here. read more

No dr on duty. How is this any sort of urgency? Second experience here, completely useless

Easy appointments but service is lacking. My partner went in for suture removal. The original provider prescribed antibiotics and said he would call it in to our pharmacy. Prescription never got there, and when we called to ask we were told we'd have to come in again to be re-evaluated because the prescription wasn't on file. So I have to pay for another visit because the original doctor screwed up? No thank you. Will not be back. read more

Came from out of state to visit family & was feeling under the weather so I came to get tested. Arrived five minutes after the Urgent Care opened and was quickly greeted by the front office. The clerk was extremely efficient and kind. I was swiftly taken back to an exam room and quickly tested & examined. Went there because my Dr could not get me in and was recommended by him. Was immediately taken to an examining room. Sat in that room for almost 2 hours sicker than hell almost passed out and through up I don't how many times while the staff and Dr's are doing nothing but laughing and joking around outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENDED UP WALKING RIGHT OUT OF THE PLACE AND WENT RIGHT DOWN TO URGENT CARE LIKE I SHOULD OF IN THE FIRST PLACE AND WAS SEEN IN LESS THAN 40 MINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

My provider could not see me and referred me to urgent care. I called to get an appt and the rude receptionist told me to "go on line, that's not my job." I went on line & when it came to my appt the office had to close because both staff receptionists called in sick so they only took appts, glad I had one. I gave them my medicare card and asked them to bill this first then the private ins. Well, that didn't happen so now I'm fighting with reception to get this straightened out. The clinic defiinitely needs to do better, much better or they won't last long. read more

I arrived at this WellNow urgent care on a Friday night. With complications of a UTI. my primary care physician told me to go to urgent care and this was the closest one. The patient care technicians were all really nice. Then I met the nurse practitioner. Who's name was Amanda. She walked in and introduced herself in a very forceful in an invalidating way. I felt as though I was guilty for being there. Right from the start she started minimizing and patronizing me for my symptoms. That wasn't the worst of it. During her assessment she started pounding on my back with force. As a nurse myself, we have never assessed a patient in that manner for a UTI. We press on the bladder lightly but firmly to assess, but never with that type of assessment. I swear she was raging on me. When I left, the other staff members told me that they got slammed earlier. I understand the burn out that comes with nursing but I have never and I don't say this lightly, been physically assaulted by any caregiver. She also yelled at me because she had to change my discharge paperwork for another antibiotic. I forgot to tell her I was allergic to Bactrim. I truly believe she was burned out and by the time I got there, the place was empty, but she was on her wits end, and I got the brunt of it.I was her scapegoat at that point. Nonetheless, that is no excuse to treat a patient like that. I was emotionally and physically abused. She needs to be talked to by her medical superior to possibly prevent her from getting in deeper trouble with patient rights. I will not take this any further, so please take action. read more
