Awful place. If you are sick don't come here. They gave me a hard time about insurance. Because I didn't have my insurance card on me.

The staff at Kohl's blood draw was the Worst experience I have ever had and I've had hundreds of…read moreblood draws I hope I ne er go back there. There is NO empathy, no smiles, no caring. The 2 ladies were clearly unhappy with their jobs or totally burned out. I see so many negatives and yet, St. Peters is doing NOTHING to change this. I hope never to return here. There are so many other blood draws. Dont come here. Ugh. Disgusted with St. Peters and Bender Labs. Shame on you!!!

I went into the Kohls' location first thing in the morning for a blood draw. There were two…read moreemployees present, a younger woman and an older woman. They were loudly shouting back and forth from one end of the office to another. At first it was just pleasantries. Unprofessional, for sure, but I just wanted to get the blood draw done quickly. The younger employee began complaining about the codes that were listed on my blood draw order. She yelled to the other employee that the codes were incorrect and that "these doctors just don't care." Then she shouted my doctor's name, a well respected member of the medical community, and said "he should know better." I was shocked. The other employee asked her who the doctor was. She shouted his name even louder. The older employee then shouted "He's old. He should retire!" I was appalled at the lack of respect for a member of the medical community and for me, his patient. I had never experienced this type of unprofessionalism in a medical facility. I was going to retrieve the work order and leave when the younger employee called me in and said they were not going to be able to draw my blood because there were incorrect codes on the order. I took the order and quickly left the office. When I got home, I emailed Patient Experience at St. Peter's Partners. Within a half hour I received a response from the coordinator apologizing for what I experienced and assuring me that the incident was being referred to management and to Human Resources. A half hour later, I received a phone call from the woman who supervises all 14 St. Peter's labs. She reviewed the facts with me and then said she was on her way to have a discussion with these two employees. She said that this type of unprofessionalism would not be tolerated. She was appalled at the statement of my doctor being too old and should retire. I am grateful that St. Peter's responded quickly to this incident. Hopefully they will take action to make sure that no customer ever has to endure this type of unprofessionalism again. I appreciate their apologies, but I will never set foot in this lab again. And I had been a steady customer there since they opened. This is how you lose business.

Came in to get my blood work done today as I do periodically. I must say that Tammy is absolutely…read moreamazing at what she does here. I have never been one to be a fan of needles but she makes you feel very comfortable, she's very friendly and warm with her affect, so it put you at ease. She'll strike up a conversation with you, to keep your mind off of everything that's going on and before you know it it's done. I've never had an experience where I've never felt a thing throughout the whole process, normally I would be wincing and wondering when the next poke was going to happen but here with her it never does. She really knows what she's doing and she is amazing at her job. She cares about the people that she takes care of and you can see that she does. The reason why I dropped it down one star is because the hours of operation don't coincide with my work availability so if I need to be seen by my doctor I have to take time off of work to do so. Before covid-19, I was able to make an evening appointment and come in and see my doctor after work which was very convenient, now unfortunately there are no evening appointments, so I have to miss my job in order for them to do their job and I have to pay them to lose my hours at work. So needless to say it's a double-edged sword with that last star. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this facility for any of your medical needs when it comes to needing a doctor or blood work completed. Thank you so much for listening.

My entire family used to go to this practice and one by one we've left because of the staff-rude…read moreand unfriendly seemed to be a prerequisite for this office. In addition, every practitioner we had for PCPs left after only several months or a couple of years, which tells me (I worked for a group practice for 20 years) that management is not good, and clearly, it's impacting the practice.
