I came in today with a shoulder that had been killing me for days, and I honestly can't believe how…read moremuch better I feel. What blew me away was that I didn't even have to point out where it hurt. She started working and knew exactly where the tension was held without me saying a word. It was like she had a GPS for muscle knots! The technique was firm but intuitive--she found spots I didn't even realize were contributing to the pain. I walked out feeling ten pounds lighter and finally have my range of motion back. If you're looking for someone who truly understands body mechanics and doesn't just go through the motions, this is the place. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with chronic pain or stubborn knots!
Amazing massage from Poo, she was very nice and knowledgeable about massaging and body injury and…read morespend a lot of time on a leg i had injured before. She also could realize quickly if the pressure was too much. I arrived an hour earlier and the staff in front sort of panicked about it and asked me if i have pid online before however this option was not available and when I said i only have card from U.S. they said they don't accept that. Again this was not provided online either which given the touristy vibe this place has (foreign customers, english spoken and written communication) i found strange. What made my experience unpleasant however was 1- they would not tell me where exactly atm is and would just point at somewhere on a street one block over. Imagine having ti keep asking what's the name of the place several times while trying not to disturb the "relaxing" environment of the place. I left to the place she pointed at which was a restaurant and they had no idea what i'm talking about. Not to mention it was night (~8pm) and freezing cold. I had to leave my belongings inside the massage place because they were pretty heavy and while waiting in the crowded restaurant and bring in the way of employees and people i was worried about losing my personal items. At the end when i got back we made a deal : i had 40 euros and an hour massage was 50 euros. They offered to give me 40mins massage (which is unfair i was short €10, why not give massage for 50 minutes instead?) i think they saw how desperate i was after waiting and hustling around the streets for an atm and offered the lowest they could. And the end the most unpleasant experience was the male masseuse who while giving a massage would creepily peeked from the edge of the certain and check me out. I could tell he just was thinking i'm going to steal a product from them. Again Pooh massage and customer service was staler and if it was just her I would give her a 5, but the other employees were really off and made the experience extremely stressful for me. In response to the owner's message: they said we only accept local card : my card does have a chip but they did not even bother to check. The employee said there is an atm and did not tell me where exactly. This caused me a lot of trouble. I did not day anything about the closing time or complained about it. The fact that your respond mentions it and talks about it in length suggests you only responded to pretend you care about the customer feedback and not really care what the feedback is about hence I'm goi g to review this place with even a lower rate.

Plus when she handed me her card, she crossed out Ni Hao but didn't write a new name. This is a no frills spot. 35e for an hour. But if you have some major knots to be worked out, this is your spot. Do not come here for a soothing massage. This is definitely a sports massage - there's no denying it once you see the arms on the therapist. Guns! Deep deep deep tissue! I had really bad lower back pain for the past two weeks. She kneaded into so many knots - admittedly at some point to near tears - but for the first time, I was pain free. Yes, I'm sore. Like I had an intense work out. Some areas are sensitive to touch. But I finally didn't have to take any pain medicines and muscle relaxers...so definitely well worth it. Unlike other no-frills massage places, the therapist actually talked to me about the treatment, suggested some stretches, etc. She only speaks Dutch though. Hardly any English. Will be back for sure.

The masseuse was hurting me and I had to ask her several times to ease the pressure before she took it slightly easier, all the while going on about how she's been doing this a long time and knows what she's doing. If that's the case then I must have booked a torture session, not a massage session. Money down the drain.

The cold immersion bath or little pool is really cold (that is the way it is meant to be). There is a private outside sitting area as well for use in summer. Everything is perfectly functional and the facilities are adequate. You can rent towels and robes at the counter and there is a small pantry offering tea, juices, sandwich, shakes and warm soup (vegetarian of course). The sauna including the dressing or changing room is mixed gender. Tuesdays are vrouwendag (women's day) and the sauna is closed on Wednesdays. There is no bath suit day. The prices are more than reasonable. It is about half the charge when compared to Deco. The sauna has a massage room on site which is leased to professional masseurs. You have to make an appointment if you plan to get a massage. Don't expect to find grandeur, luxury and spa like atmosphere. It is sufficiently small place and there are no other sauna rooms apart from the dry sauna & steam room. The atmosphere inside can be improved further to give it a cozy feel. There is a local feeling and casual atmosphere to it, like the around the corner neighborhood place and there are lots of regulars. The sauna is staffed mostly by volunteers and they are friendly. After Fenomeen closed, this has become the best alternative.
