They even supply a non alcoholic beer if you ask. There isn't a lot of room at the bar but they do have different nights with a theme. Trivia night is popular and sometimes a guest singer appears. The accommodation is very cheap in comparison to other hotels in the town. If you are just staying over night this is ideal.

There is a restaurant at the resort that caters for breakfast and dinners. In the hot weather there is a pool for the guests to enjoy. I organised my mother's 80th Birthday luncheon there and Wayne and Lisa Shepard did a fantastic job of preparing the room, meeting the dietary needs of some and serving delicious food that was presented so beautifully. The cost was very reasonable. The Sheppards made all the guests feel comfortable and there was no time limit in leaving the venue as many guests hadn't seen one another in years. I would highly recommend this venue for any function. There is ample parking. There is no public transport to the venue. But then again... if you were staying in one of the cabins then you could just walk across the yard to the event and then later stagger home! No booze bus would pick you up!

The staff go out of their way to make a group happy. The meals were reasonable and their is always soon special. I brought in a birthday cake ( for my Mum as a surprise)and t he staff didn't charge cakeage! The staff prepared the sparkles on the cake and brought it out at the right time. In the evening there was a different special board. Lots of selection.
