Good thing I did! It turned out I had cancer. A year and a half later I'm cancer free but I'm back for physical therapy on my prosthetic knee as it was casted for too long in extension and I can't bend it much. MVPT has been so wonderful through this process. I feel more like family than a patient. They give me hope every day that I can get better. Went for my initial appointment and filled out all of the normal paperwork, and then had to repeat it all once the person came to get me because that paperwork was never given to my therapist. Why even bother filling it out to begin with, oh yah, that's right you need it for your records. During each visit I was given a exercise to do while the person went to talk to fellow staff members, and then when I was done they would return just long enough to give you another one to do. They probably only spent a total of five minutes with me during each thirty minute session. After this happening each time for three sessions I decided to cancel the rest of my appointments and spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I had been to another Apple Therapy in Manchester and they are MUCH better.

From the moment she arrived, she was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. She truly loved the nurses who cared for her every day, and they clearly loved her right back. The staff took the time to get to know her as a person, not just a resident, which meant the world to our family. She also adored the maintenance staff, who always made her smile and helped her feel comfortable and at home. The activities were another highlight--she looked forward to them, stayed engaged, and found so much joy in participating. It gave her purpose, routine, and happiness. I was sent to Bedford Hills Rehab Center after serious knee surgery for 6 weeks of Rehab, , This…read moreplace is terrible. I left after 6 days. During these 6 days, I received a total of 15 minutes of Rehab. Five minutes a day for 3 days. The food is terrible, Room service was totally inadequate. Several times I waited between 15 and 30 minutes for a person to show up and help me to the bathroom. The bulding I was placed in was on the floor with mostly mental patients who were often screaming and arguing with staff in the hall way. I would not recomend this place to any one. They rightfully deserve the one star rating they have.

Both times I worked with Lou and he was knowledgeable and fun to work with. Great conversation while we worked and took it easy but knew when to push you for the best results. He also showed me good stretches and workouts to do to maintain my recovery and prevent further injury. Great hours as well, very accommodating for my schedule.
