My daughter was nervous about posing and worried that she wouldn't feel natural in front of the camera, but Jessica has an incredible ability to make someone feel comfortable and bring out their personality so effortlessly. The photographs are absolutely stunning - beautiful, natural, and genuinely her, and my daughter loves every single one of them. Jessica was incredibly professional, kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process. You can tell that she truly cares about the people she photographs, not just about taking beautiful pictures. Her talent is extraordinary, but so is the person behind the camera. We are beyond grateful to have these photographs from such a special time in my daughter's life. She gave us an experience and memories we will treasure for years to come.

I seriously cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. I was a little scared because it was SO windy on the day we took pictures and I was scared about how I personally looked, but Jessica captured everything at just the perfect moment. Not too posed, but perfect candid moments. She was at the location before us set and ready to go, and she is very fun, personable, and respectful. We needed a wedding photographer for next year, and I was recommended Jessica, and I definitely know why. Her work is gorgeous and I cannot wait to have her as such an important part of our big day.

She also sent out our gallery the very next day! Awesome!! The photo session itself was unlike any other experience we've had with a photographer. Somehow, she managed to coax genuine smiles and giggles from us which led to super quality shots. Will definitely book Honeybrown again!!

Kat immediately made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely ourselves during our engagement shoot. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, especially when it came to all the little things I told her I wanted -- like my very specific request for our photos to feel grand and epic, but also romantic lol. She was always available by text or phone whenever we had questions or concerns. Weeks after our engagement shoot, I noticed something off about my dress, and she had edited photos back to me within hours to help solve the issue. Kat has such a vibrant energy about her that makes the photoshoots so fun! And that's before even getting to her incredible photography skills. She knows all the hidden gems around the city, how to navigate crowded locations to get THE shot, and how to capture a wide variety of moments while maintaining incredible quality. The photos truly speak for themselves. Kat and Brett together are an incredible duo. They seem to instinctively know what shot the other is trying to get, and it was cool to watch them flow together so seamlessly. I think that definitely contributes to their fantastic work. I'm not even sure what our next big event will be, but whatever it is, we're already looking forward to having a reason to hire Kat and Brett again!

Cannot recommend these guys enough!…read more Our original wedding was schedule for May 2020 when Covid struck. we had to postpone 3 times and Something Blue could not have accommodated us any better. Hearing horror stories of couples losing out on thousands of dollars from wedding vendors who would not refund their money, wouldn't accommodate a change of date, or would vanish all together made us so thankful for having Something Blue by our side and allowing us to have peace of mind while going through all the changes. As far as the wedding day(s), we had 2. First we had a small back yard wedding with immediate family only during covid. Liz and Conrad were amazing. We did what we could with decorations but in the end, it was just a back yard, but Liz and Conrad made it look like a twenty thousand dollar venue with their pictures. The 2nd wedding was at our originally planned for venue and we once again had both Liz and Conrad. They captured the day perfectly. They were constantly coming up with great photo ideas that all turned out amazing. Probably my favorite part about hiring the Something Blue crew was we didn't have to ask them to do anything. They were always there for the best shots, came up with their own ideas, and best of all they blended in. A lot of photographers I see at weddings will stand right in the middle of everything to get a good shot disrupting the view of the guests and the flow of the wedding. Liz and Conrad were perfect in getting the best shots while also remaining incognito. Lastly, they are just great people. We've met at their studio a hand full of times now and every time we find ourselves getting lost in conversation with them. They will always listen to what you have to say and take all of your wants and needs into consideration when planning your day. Again, cannot recommend these guys enough.

We had two phone meetings to meet with Conrad before the big day. Even before the wedding, Conrad was so sweet and eager to shoot our Medieval wedding. His own excitement made me look forward to the wedding even more, since he genuinely wanted to be apart of it. He is so talented! And he went above and beyond on the day of by not only getting photos at the ceremony cabin, but ALSO traveled with us to Medieval Times (even waiting in line with us while we checked-in) so we could get interior photos. He captured the magic of our day! I've only seen a few sneak peeks of images (it's only been 4 days since the wedding!) and they are incredible, right out of a movie. I can't wait to see them all! Anthony took the time to travel into the city and meet with us personally to make sure it was a good fit and talk about details. He's a one-man show so he's able to offer a great rate and he truly does an awesome job handling it on his own! He was able to keep our bridal party in-line (not an easy feat!) and kept people laughing. We ended up having to make a location change last minute due to heavy Friday afternoon traffic and Anthony went with the flow and was able to find some unique locations in the city on the fly. I would 100% recommend Anthony to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. One piece of advice, make sure you are clear on the length of time between the wedding and when you expect to get pictures. I was a bit surprised at how long it took to get back our photos; I wanted to use some for our thank you cards.
