She guided our family through the very difficult process of managing hospice care in a nursing home with compassion and professionalism. My mother's hospice aide, Brandie, was equally wonderful--gentle, respectful, and efficient. One of my fondest memories is how much my mother enjoyed having her hair freshly washed; just before she passed, I remember the comfort of touching and smelling her clean hair, a gift made possible by Brandie's attentive care. Chaplain Mike also went above and beyond by helping me connect with a Catholic priest who administered Last Rites for my mom, which was deeply meaningful to our family. I appreciated that whenever I called Alinea's main number, I was immediately connected to a live person. When my mother's condition suddenly declined, I was patched directly to the on-call nurse for a timely reevaluation. I cannot stress enough how much better my experience with Alinea Family Hospice Care was compared to a previous hospice provider.
