It's not extremely fancy inside but has sufficiently nice decor. Before the meal, two large pieces of papad are served to the table with mint & yogurt chutney and what I believe to be injipuli, and souf/funnel seeds are served after the meal to clear your palette. For my main course, I ordered chicken saag "extra spicy" with a side of tandoori naan. The entree also came with rice. I was satisfied with the level of spice in the saag, and I thought the dish was overall very flavorful and would certainly recommend ordering this here. The portion isn't enormous but certainly isn't small, so I was happy with the size. I had never ordered non-paneer saag and was pleasantly surprised with how great the dish tasted. The rice was definitely the best tasting rice I've had in Hamburg. I also thought the naan had a great texture after being oven baked and thoroughly enjoyed eating this with spinach and rice.

They put nice little vegetable decorations on top of all their dishes. Not sure if this is needed to be honest, as the focus for me is the taste, not the decorations on top. It was my first time here and we agreed that the curries were simply not flavorful enough and tasted like tomato paste. The Indian curry spices were just not really there. The garlic naan was the highlight however. Hot and buttery and crispy. It could have been a bit more fluffy though. All in all, a pretty good place for Indian food if that's what you're in the mood for. However the search continues for me for the best Indian food in hamburg.

My waiter also brought a green chili sauce, which wasn't that spicy but tasted very good. I thought the tikka masala here wasn't bad but wasn't great and wouldn't order it again. I'd also recommend picking a different dish if you're between options. The naan was very tasty, and the rice was decent. I can recommend this restaurant for a group dinner due to the great ambiance and service quality. But it's not just the service. The food is amazing and the butter chicken is so good I would inject the curry directly into my veins.
