There were about 20-30 guests trying to make it on this small van and it was an intense situation... - We ended up taking a Taxi to the hotel, which beat the van and we didn't have to argue with other guests about who was going in the small van. - No restaurant in the hotel (breakfast only), but they have a few recommendations for restaurants that are within walking distance. PROS - Awesome free breakfast (5/5)! Tons of fresh fruit, veggies, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. Good selection of juice, coffee, and milk. - Service was exceptional. At breakfast, each worker was on top of it! Service staff is friendly, and service is good. Entrees are about 10-15 Euros at dinner. There is a parking garage right down the street for your car (about 10 euros per day). The bathroom is also super awkward with the pull close doors that have holes, no locks, and a crack between them where they do not completely meet. My kids were so uncomfortable trying to shower, get dressed, etc in there with others in the actual room. The restaurant has a small menu and well stocked bar. Overall, a good choice for the area other than the bathrooms and some cleanliness issues.

But for this reason, I now give a more standardized review of hotels, of course, special features are also highlighted. In the toilet area, it may be a bit too "visual" for some people, so I rate this area last and it is marked ***, just skip it if you are one of those people who does not want to talk about it. Overall resume: I like this Hotel and will come back whenever the Hilton IN the airport isn't​ available, also it is a very good deal on the money and not far away from the airport. - This Hotel has only opened for four weeks when I have stayed there (end of January 2019). That said they had still some issues with the internet, and it was not working perfectly. Very slow response. The German telecom was working on it, so I am sure that it will be fixed in the next couple of weeks. - Be aware if you come from the Airport, you can use an airport shuttle bus from the airport. The way to the hotel is free of charge the way back costs a 4 Euro that you pay at the reception. This is a very fair price, even it is a short ride, a taxi would be way more expansive. The busses ride about every 30 min. - What struck me: Obviously, the hotel is brand new and so are the rooms. Nice design lots of thought through technical offerings (lots of USB and overall power outlets makes the life of a traveler so easy). - Personnel / Employees: Having already said that the Hotel is open for just four weeks, means the employees are not well trained on the systems yet, and they still have some issues with everyday work. But what they don't have in knowledge yet, they make up with efforts and friendliness. at least in my case. So I have nothing t complain about that. - Honesty or Marketing? Towel Service (on paper or even printed paper every hotel asks for help to protect the environment and to use towels several times, but what really happens in this hotel - is this taken seriously or is the towel replaced even though it left on the towel rack has been?): Well, the towel was replaced every day, even when I put it up on the rack. So in this new Hampton Inn, they have to better train the room service that this is not just an idea. Prices: - Bottle of water from the minibar: What MiniBar - @ Hampton Inns the concept has no room for minibars - Cup/cappuccino from the bar: 3 € Amenities (beyond the usual, expected): - USB / sockets on the bed: yes, plenty - Trashcan: (I always hate when there are not enough trashcans) 1 in the bathroom, 1 near the desk - Shower system (shower head can be separated, water pressure, constant shower temperature): very good, good pressure, constant temperature and the shower head is easily replaceable. - *** toilet brush (at most 4+ star hotel seems to rule the opinion that the guest should not be bothered to clean the toilets after the use and the toilet brush is left out without further ado. I find that very questionable to the housekeeping) *** - They don't​ provide a toilet brush :(

No coffee maker but some instant packets in the room. The finishings are higher end feeling with plenty of outlets and a comfortable bed. The employees are friendly and helpful. You can order from a limited menu in the dining area after 3pm. The breakfast from 6-10 was really nice and had quite a bit of options. The shuttle from the airport runs either hourly or every 30 minutes depending on the time of day. We had to wait about 45 minutes for ours but it was fine we just had a coffee for a bit. One other thing, our room was window facing the front of the hotel, be aware people frequently gather and smoke outside. We heard a lot of talking and coming and going because we had the window open for cool air to sleep to. Unfortunately it appeared the AC wasn't working but luckily we didn't need it. All and all I'd recommend it to others just a few kinks.

GREAT HOTEL RIGHT ON THE RHINE RIVER…read more============================= This is a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms, good food and central location on the Rhine River. The highest rooms on the side of the river have the best views and the old fortress blocks the views for the lower level rooms. We walked to the weekly farmer's market that was right by the cathedral and another church with the Marc Chagall windows.
