We stopped on for breakfast around 10:30am on a Tuesday and snagged the last open table. While it would have been picturesque to sit outside with the ocean view, we settled for whatever we could get. Both women were working were very friendly. With my rudimentary French, I was able to communicate our order when they said they do not speak English well. Americanos were delicious and the omelettes we ordered were fabulous. On the chalkboard menu it simply said "omelette " but what came out was a light, fluffy omelette filled with ham and a white cheese with a large green salad with tomatoes in an Italian style dressing- for 8 euros! The omelette was humongous and so filling that we skipped lunch that day. I'd definitely return here for breakfast or coffee again and would recommend anyone visiting this part of Marseille to do the same! read more
