I had the Maultaschen platter with mashed potatoes and sauteed onions, and it was great. If you don't know, Maultaschen are like giant meat-filled dumplings basically, and they are a very common meal in South Germany. Try them when you're there! I can't remember what everyone else had, but my son had the Wiener schnitzel with fries and said it was great too. We live in the U.S. And I can say that with an attitude like this, a place would be totally out of business within a couple of days. One example. My husband asked the waiter kindly if we can please pay. The server answered "neeee, jetzt absolut nicht" which means no, absolutely not! How crazy is that? We needed to leave for an appointment so this was really not fun to beg him, run after him so we can pay? When we were finally allowed to pay, he was even more rude and was making an awful comment about how many napkins we had used (3 napkins for 4 people!!!) I could understand his broken German. I'm born and raised in Germany, so there was no misunderstanding on the language side. My recommendation is, look for a better place. Food absolute nothing special - service absolutely bad. Btw that was the second time we were there. We wanted to give it another try as it is convenient bec of the location to hospital. First time was not any better unfortunately. Differnt waiter though.... No different attitude. Ultimately I do not want to be treated that bad as a normal friendly behaving customer. Also restrooms dirty! Absolutely not recommended wish I could give zero stars.
