I worked with a Braun Kendrick attorney in 2017 on a real estate transaction. He seemed…read moredisorganized, and unaware of certain basics of real estate (such as SEV) that would have been very helpful. I let him go, and was recently sued (5 years later) regarding the final bill that I didn't pay. (Guess what - I lost!) This may seem like sour grapes, but I can tell you for certain that I was not provided with accurate information regarding how much time my lawyer had spent and what I actually owed. In fact I NEVER received an actual time statement until trial documents were filed in which they claimed I actually owed them much more than they billed me for. And after sending them a grievance letter that they never bothered to reply to, they choose to have me served at my house by a uniformed officer. The entire experience was very disappointing. This is worth your time to read. My name is Debra and I…read morewas in a difficult situation with having shared a house that the financing was in my name, yet the deed was in both my name and my boyfriends' name. Our relationship deteriorated over time. It came that I found out that he had been secretly surveilling me in even rooms that were personal to me. This concerned me as he had shown jealousy over the years. I didn't feel safe any longer, so I moved. The only place I had to go to was several states away. I ended up needing police escort to remove what I could pack in my car. So you can imagine that I certainly didn't want to have to work with this man to finalize arrangements on buying me out. I cannot express my thankfulness strong enough to Philip Sturtz and Zamarah, who helped me through a long period of negotiations. Philip had my back to work with my boyfriend's lawyer, and he always made me feel confident that I had indeed chose correctly with deciding to use his talent and trust. Zamarah was always very personal and pleasant, even when I was very stressed. I hope to never go through this experience again, but if I did, Philip Sturtz and Zamarah would be the only people I would confidently approach to help me. I wish Philip Sturtz and his entire staff the best of life. And a special heart felt Thank You to Zamarah!! Thank You!!!
