I let him go, and was recently sued (5 years later) regarding the final bill that I didn't pay. (Guess what - I lost!) This may seem like sour grapes, but I can tell you for certain that I was not provided with accurate information regarding how much time my lawyer had spent and what I actually owed. In fact I NEVER received an actual time statement until trial documents were filed in which they claimed I actually owed them much more than they billed me for. And after sending them a grievance letter that they never bothered to reply to, they choose to have me served at my house by a uniformed officer. The entire experience was very disappointing. Calls late at night or only meets with you 5 minutes before you have to go into court. She gave the prosecutor information that she is not supposed to. Does not fight for you like she says. Also uses scare tactics to get you to accept plea agreements. Then make sure you run her fee agreement through each line with her because she will tell you one thing and then try to charge you another. She is a disgrace to the justice system. She acts like she is always in a hurry and has meetings when in fact she text messages the prosecutor instead of having a meeting. Advocate for yourself!! Because even though you are paying her she sure does not work for you! ​
