History

Established in 1874.

Das seit 1874 in Familienbesitz befindliche Weingut hat eine hochinteressante Vergangenheit. In den Jahren davor gehörte der Domhof dem Domstift Worms an. So steht noch immer die große Zehntscheune im Hof, die heute als Flaschenlager genutzt wird. Seit 2004 wird der Domhof von Alexander Baumann in der vierten Generation als Weingut geführt. Das Wahrzeichen des Domhofs ist der in Stein gehauene Petrus von 1754, welches Sie auch auf den Etiketten aller Weinflaschen wiederfinden.

Some of the highlights include the warm ambiance of our host and the personalized selections that the he chose for our varied group, including the wunderschon, the zehnmorgan resiling, and we even enjoyed the surprisingly good reds, not sure how they grow Pinot noir in this region but it was also good. Thank you Kenneth for the tasting, all of your expertise, and helping us to get to know this land, it's bounty and people.
