I've used Fresh Pixel for about three years now. Angelique rescued me from my last web designer…read morecompany who billed from New Jersey but turned out to be, you guessed it, IN INDIA. My worst nightmare. I had no idea how to move my website away from them, all the stupid details, domain stuff, all that, but she did. She took it back for me [to this day I still don't know what-all that meant] and I was up-and-running with a brand new beautiful website in a week. I thought it would take way longer than that. Shocked! My website is now modern, colorful, easy to use and everyone comments on how great it is. I forget about it, really, because I never look at it, but she does, ha ha - she automatically updates the thing with really good quality photos, changes what she thinks needs changing and I never think about it. At all. The owner brings to my attention things she knows will improve my site - last month it was online booking for my customers - she just got my OK and did it, ha ha and this month it's a suggestion about SEO. I went ahead and hired her to do that for me this year, and I definitely expect that to improve a lot. I'm completely technologically challenged, work all the flippin time at my business and so this kind of person is right for me. She's clear, direct and responsive to my needs. I'm sure I'm a pain-in-the-ass customer, but you'd never know it from her end. If you're looking for hand-holding, forget about it - she's straightforward and doesn't waste time, which i think transfers into her mindfullness about what she charges you. She's very attuned to what you need and what that might cost - no surprises, nothing hidden, very reasonable and affordable. I'm a woman business owner, so I'm very comfortable with any other woman-owned and run business but that's not what I care about, truth be told. Fresh Pixel is the fourth web company I've used over the years I've been in business, and for the first time I don't fret or stress or hang my head in shame over my deficient website. FP has provided me with a wonderful website that I'm proud of and that my customers enjoy and use. Feel free to check out my website -hairintl.com - and judge for yourself. I'm proud of it! Go figure.

I WOULD NOT recommend this company to manage your website or any other business activity. I wish I…read moredid my research first before hiring her and I would have seen that she did to a lot of other people what she did to my company. I found her through QuickBooks when trying to build a new website, and she was one of the first people who responded to my email. I gave her a deposit and she built a basic website and Facebook page and asked for the remaining amount before she would publish it. I asked her to make some changes from the basic page she made and add actual photos I had sent her and change some wording and fonts. It took months and months of emailing her and no response. When she finally did respond she was rude and very ignorant and wouldn't make any of the changes I requested and was not helpful at all. At this point I had already paid her the entire amount and once that occurred, she was done with us. I finally got access to my own website and Facebook account after months of asking; just so I can do pay someone new to do the work she was supposed to do. After googling her and reading reviews on the BBB I see she did the exact same thing to other people. Do NOT hire or you will spend a couple thousand dollars for the most basic site ever, and she will insult you and be continually rude. Waste of time and money. In all of my years I have never ever met someone to unprofessional. If you would like to read all of our corresponding emails back and forth before hiring her, please contact me and I will send them to you. BEWARE!
