Staff in person and on the phone are helpful, answer questions and don't make you feel like you're wasting their time. I know it's weird to talking about customer service when talking about medical facilities, but it really is a rarity nowadays. I've even moved and I still trek here just because the customer service and medical expertise. Anytime I've had to come here I was seen on time or no more than 10 min after my time (shocking, I know). The technicians are helpful and explained every part of the process, which made me feel better overall. So, I hope you never have to come here but if you do, I think you will have a good experience.

The scheduling personnel was able to promptly pull up my doctor's order when I called and put me on the schedule at a date & time that worked for me. The date was more important than the location in my case. The customer experience was impeccable with two reminder calls and app notifications. They were able to communicate with my doctor's office to confirm what type of contrast was needed for my study. I checked in through the app the day before my appointment and as a result only waited a few minutes before being called back by the technician. I am a hard stick but the nurse listened to me and was able to place the IV without too much struggle. The technician confirmed the reason for the study prior to me getting on the table. He gave me a radiological marker to apply near the area of concern. The study took 5 minutes then I was on my way with my post-discharge instructions in hand! I highly recommend this imaging facility!

Customer service here is horrible. I received a surprisingly high bill from a third party lab…read morecompany for tests that were done at this Urgent Care facility. I wasn't told at the time of service that I would be receiving two separate bills - 1 from the urgent care and another from a separate lab company - and thought that my insurance would cover my visit after I paid my deductible upfront before my visit. My insurance company told me that I needed to resolve the issue directly with the urgent care facility, not the lab company that they use. When I called this urgent care to quickly resolve the issue, I was given the runaround saying that no one could help me via phone and told that I needed to prepare a detailed written statement after which I'll likely be bounced around some more with no resolution. Do yourself a favor and go to CityMD by Queensboro Plaza instead. They have much better such service and a customer support team that's actually helpful.

It was the worst thing ever and I was not able to function at all...I dragged my corpse to see Dr. Chen and he diagnosed me with vestibular neuritis. He prescribed meclizine and started treating me with acupuncture. The acupuncture really helped with the dizziness and I started feeling better after a week. When I finally got an appointment to see a specialist at NYU they confirmed it was neuritis. My 4 y/o daughter was playing with her grandfather and he pulled her arm and partially dislocate her elbow (nursemaid's elbow). We weren't able to get her an appointment at her pediatrician, but luckily Dr. Chen able to treat her and move it back in place. I've also gotten acupuncture with Dr. Chen for pregnancy weight loss and also chronic neck/back pain from sitting and working on a computer all day. Aside from how good Dr. Chen is, I've been to a few other urgent cares in the neighborhood, and in all honesty, is one by far the best and the cleanest. They also call you the next day to check up on you.

If I ever need another MRI, this is the facility to which I'll go.

Just pain from the top every time I tried to apply pressure. The front desk staff had me fill out paperwork on an iPad and it was pretty straightforward. It was have been about 5-7 minutes of forms. I sat down and was able to be seen by a physician in 15 minutes. I bought a book to keep myself busy, because my mind was racing. I was panicking thinking how will I walk around if I'm in major pain. I walked in to the room. My blood pressure and stats were taken, and a doctor reviewed my symptoms. I was able to discuss how much it hurt and she was able to press each toe to figure out if I needed an X-ray. I was impressed with the level of precision with the radiologist who took multiple radiographs. He was professional and helpful. It was later than I found out the news. I felt relieved to hear that it wasn't broken, yet the physician handed me a special shoe to wear to keep it protected. The medical team worked together to bring some ease to my day. I appreciate my visit today and felt better with all their care. It was so calming to hear it's probably going to be a few days of the Velcro shoe and then back to normal. I would recommend this place if you are like me and potentially need to get an X-ray.

My wife has a foot fracture and was trying to schedule a follow-up appointment for a specialist, that the CityMD Urgent Care set up for her initially. She called them today to ask if she could be given an appointment a bit closer to home for us than what they'd initially set up - and was told that there might be another option in Queens. We asked for the address of said place in Queens. Kinda important, since we're dealing with a foot fracture and can't move around super easily. At least the block or thereabouts. The lady on the phone flat out REFUSED to give us the address, despite being asked THREE TIMES "please let us know what the address of this place is, so we can see how to get there". Every time she'd avoid giving us a straight answer, almost aggressively. Somehow, someway, the person on the phone simply would not provide a geographical location/address - and doubled-down by telling my wife "if you don't make a decision now, and if you have to cancel the appointment, you'll be in trouble later". We'd completely understand if there were some rule or regulation keeping her from giving us a street address - but she never mentioned anything along those lines. She simply tried to be as unhelpful and rude as possible. Absolute sham of a service, almost malicious incompetence on display. Hope other CityMDs have better staff.

When I called back the hotline, no one transferred me to the location or told me that my appointment was canceled. He asked me to confirm the spelling and my name so I took out my ID when his manager walked over and told me that my appointment was canceled. I said I would've understood if They called an hour ago, but they called five minutes before my appointment start time. Unprofessional. The same guy who was smirking started smirking again when I got upset and told my friend that we should just leave because he didn't have another appointment until the next week. I left my job early and was expected to bring back a medical note which I can no longer bring because I was not seen by a doctor. They need to retrain their front desk and just have better basic professionalism. How do you call somebody five minutes before an appointment to cancel it? He said there was a fire this morning, so maybe call during the morning? Totally frustrating. I'm upset about the appointment being canceled, but also about how I was treated by that man at the desk.
