I did the same thing the next day. I did not receive a call back. I filled out the form on the website to make an appointment - they say they will call you to confirm arrangements. They didn't call. I went in for an xray becuase I was having pain, and it is now 3 days later and I can not get a report from the radiologist on my xray. I have called and was told the report will be posted to my chart once it is ready. I have been to various imaging locations and most often it is the same day. who would think it would be days till I find out the result of the xray. read more

I have been going to Rosetta Imaging for about 10 years now. What is the problem with your phone staff??? I've been calling for days and a few times a day leaving messages and sent in my scripts and have not received a call back. I loved the radiologists there, I believe they were the owners. I don't recall Rosetta being part of Northwell. I found their chief radiologist (working from home) as excellent. But their technicians and staff couldn't care less about their customers or patients. That's just not in their mission or vocabulary. What infuriated me the most was their nonstop dishonesty about their "waiting for your Surgeon to answer," while I'm talking to my Surgeon standing by for the call is despicable. I made it to the MRI table once but could not follow through because apparently I'm claustrophobic when my head is locked in a cage and I get rolled into a tube. Cons: They told me to keep my shoes on which made me more claustrophobic. I'm 6'2" so have a similarly sized head. No one warned me about the head cage which pressed and half-flattened my nose. They just snapped it on and locked my head in place which started to set me off. I don't know why I was not told this ahead of time. Then they rolled me into the tube and I was a couple of inches away from the ceiling of the MRI machine with my hands on my chest like I was a corpse. I pressed the panic to ask how long it was going to take since no one had told me me. I assumed it would be 1 or 2 minutes. She replied 25-30 minutes to which I said, "Nope, get me out of here". I came back a second time to try it again with a mild relaxant but didn't make it past reception. I had dealt with the receptionist the previous time and had already experience her attitude and barely stayed the first time due to it. This time when she started I just told her to "have a nice day" and that I had put up with her the first time and wasn't going to put up with her again and I walked out. I gave them two tries and that's more than they deserve. read more

I arrived half an hour early with my 90 yr old frail mother who was being sent by her doctor for a CT scan after a serious fall. I requested a wheelchair, and received none. We filled out paperwork on line, etc. arrived at the designated time and the woman behind the desk, who was possibly *the* nastiest person of her like I've ever dealt with, said "referral? Prescription?" without ever checking the file first. I said "Your office called me to make the appointment, and sent me the paperwork. They wouldn't have done that had you not had a referral or prescription." She glared at me and said "if I don't have it we won't touch her. Call the doctor." So I did, and while I was giving her the fax number, the desk person said "oh, I have it." Why didn't you tell me? I asked. "Because you were on the phone." Then they made my mother, who can barely walk, get up and walk to the front desk for her medical bracelet; they saw how frail she is and they could have come to her. But no. If you have to have imaging done in NYC, avoid this place like the plague, especially if you or the patient is a senior citizen. And if the office manager happens to read this: do better. Your employee's behavior was shocking and reprehensible. read more

I have been to Rosetta for about 20 years and was never treated so rudely by the receptionist. Now they are with Northwell, the doctors can't control the staff? The appointments were made months ago, and can't remember if I gave the correct medical insurance. The black woman with long braid yellow dye refused to take my Medicare #. She was forceful in her refusal. It was as if I somehow offended her by being there. My advice is NEVER to go there when the staff is out to lunch, NEVER get there early with only 1 person covering. My appointment was at 1:10 pm. All medical offices always wanted to verify insurance info, so I don't understand her behavior at all. I was in a good mood until that encounter. *The doctors, and techs however, were EXCELLENT. Not sure I would go for my MAMMOGRAM AND U/S with Rosetta next year. Edit: after reading other's experience with the reception, I dread the place and decided not to return, I am still upset 1 day later. read more

I had an apointment today Tuesday 29 May 2024 11 am for four tests.. My cell phone records I rang Rosetta on 26 April 2024 for the appointment. When I arrived early, as they regested , I was told I did not have an appointment. I was told to take a seat. In time I was approached and told I could have either two or three of the four tests and had to return for the additional test(s). I am now extremely careful and duediligent about appointments as we all should be . They neither offered a reason the appointment was not noted, apologized, or took any responsibility. Rosetta needs to review their procedures and begin by dismissing the offending staff people and hire qualified people. I will go elsewhere. There has to be someplace where the staff knows how to enter an appointment. If they cannot do this imagine what else they are doing or not doing? read more

From the front desk receptionist ensuring I received an expedited appointment and accuracy at check in, to the incredible treatment and bedside manner of Natalya and Barbara and the quick review and response from the doctor, this team turned an initial nerve racking experience into one of comfort and understanding with the upmost level of care and professionalism. Doctors, nurses and staff are excellent. The receptionist and support staff are horrible. Very rude and nasty. Moreover, whenever you have a producers like done within days you'll receive a bill even if a procedure is completely covered by your insurance. It's definitely a battle when deciding to return as a patient or trying someplace else. read more

I have been there few times - for a yearly appointment- now just called back and spoke to a receptionist and remembered why I wanted to switch this place. I think I might. Doesn't take that much effort. Their receptionist is rude and abrupt. Makes you want to hang up and never call back again. Acts like she is doing you the outmost favor to look up the calendar. Hangs up before you had a chance to confirm the details. I don't understand why in a place where they have a lot of emotionally vulnerable patients there's is this receptionist that makes you feel so horrible. read more

Dr Rosenfeld is tops, but no one calls you back or answers the phone, so when I wanted to make an appointment for a mammogram I had to go to the office physically to do it. I had left a message each time I called. I see by the other comments that many patients have experienced the same difficulties. I have been going to Rosetta Radiology, now part of Northwell Health, for many years now. From start to finish - making an appointment, checking in, getting a mammogram and other tests, waiting for results, hearing from the doctor - everyone there seems to want to make sure the patient has as easy and comfortable experience as possible. First of all if you are having annual tests, they send a reminder several months in advance. Then when I have gone for the tests, I have always been checked in quickly. I have waited for very little time before a technician comes and gets me. And after the tests are done, the doctor comes to explain the results to me in a caring and thorough way. I have been to other radiology centers. I have sometimes had to wait extensively. I have had doctors who made nasty comments because I indicated that I had been waiting a long time. At Rosetta Radiology I have always gotten the impression that they really want to make the patient as comfortable and relaxed as they can in what are sometimes anxious situations. read more

They never take names or put out a sign-in sheets but only tell people to sit and wait for name calls. I made an appointment (thru Northwell) for an MRI of the hand. Not until I was in the room did I discover that (a) they don't have an extremity MRI machine and (b) it is an old small bore machine that I can't bear becasue of claustrophobia. I agreed to give it a try anyway. Before the technician (who was very sweet and tried to accommodate) could actually start, the weird position she had to put me in caused pains in my shoulders and I started having problems breathing. I pressed the panic button ans she took me out. I also learned that this old machine takes twice as long to do a study that the more modern machines. The professional staff were nice and friendly. The front desk staff so-so. But, if you're going for an MRI, think twice. Northwell Imaging at Greenwich Village has more modern, large bore machines. read more

Rosetta Radiology is everything I have been looking for in medical care. After I had three very uncomfortable, cold, and confusing experiences at another radiology clinic, my doctor recommended that I switch to Rosetta for my imaging. I found the person who I made my appointment with on the phone to be knowledgeable and polite, and when I arrived the person who checked me in was warm, funny, and patient. Once I was in the exam room, my technician was kind and was able to answer all of my questions, including questions that I would normally have reserved for a doctor. She is clearly very experienced. Once the exam was over and the doctor came in, I was blown away by how personable she was and how easily she was able to explain everything to me. She was reassuring about my worries, and when I said I didn't have any questions, she emphasized that I should call her if any questions came up later on. This was such an incredible, human approach to medical care, one that I have really struggled to find in NY. Thank you so much for turning what could have been another scary experience into an informative, peaceful imaging session! read more

I was there for an MRI on 3/8/2021. The tech was very patient and attentive especially since I was a bit uneasy about the procedure. I would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for the rude woman that "helped" me make my appointment. If I have to use this facility again, I'll be sure to get her name and let the staff know. read more

I visited Rosetta Radiology for what appears to have been a medically unnecessary CT scan a month ago. Five stars for the awesome radiology technician, who helped me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. Zero stars for Rosetta's failure to engage in adequate informed consent and risk communication: * No upfront communication that I can recall around the amount of radiation that would be used -- hundreds of times the radiation of an X-ray image. * When I arrive and suddenly receive scary paperwork talking about IV dyes and life-threatening hazards, I'm being told I have literally minutes to start drinking some barium shakes. Rosetta's process did not give me any opportunity to understand what I was committing to, and make an informed consent decision -- surprisingly counter to the brand presented on their website. * I only discovered after the CT scan that I was getting hundreds of X-rays worth of radiation, through my own research. Research papers I've read afterwards suggests that I just increased my future cancer risk by about 1/400 over what was likely just a tummy ache. And, finally, negative stars to Rosetta for not answering multiple follow-up e-mails I sent to the only address on their website to ask follow-up questions that I should have been told upfront: * What was my actual radiation dose from the procedure, based on the operator's individual settings on the equipment? * How do I get my imaging files? * What specific IV contrast dye was put in my body? (given the recent FDA warnings) Overall (admittedly including my physician at One Medical, who equally failed to practice proper informed consent and notify me of relative risks and widely accepted and 100% safe imaging alternatives that should have been recommended instead), this was a profoundly violating experience. The medical imaging industry needs regulation. read more

I would not recommend anyone going to this practice. The reception staff are really rude. I went to the offices and there was no one waiting on the outside to explain the COVID protocol. When I opened the door to reception, following common protocol by wearing a mask, I was approached by a lady raising her voice saying go outside read the sign. The sign she was referring to was not posted at the door but at the security guard station around the corner where no one would see it. After asking her why she was being rude she started raising her voice more and accusing me of being rude. Really unpleasantly experience that ruined my day. I don't usually write reviews but I think it's important for whoever is looking into Rosetta to know before going. I wanted to give 1 star but I bumped it up to 2 because of the technician who did my MRI. He was great- super nice and caring. Otherwise, I don't recommend this place. Starting from walking in. The person checking temperature is ridiculously rude for no apparent reason. And I wasn't the only who felt this way. At first I thought it was specific to me but she was rude to everyone and most of the people in the waiting room felt this too. There was actually a side conversation of 3 ladies about this after another 4th lady made a remark about her rudeness while walking in to the waiting room. Receptionist wasn't the friendliest either but nothing beats the attitude of the person checking temperatures. As one of the ladies in the waiting room said, we're all already nervous coming in for whatever medical test that needs to be get done, there's no need for rude attitude or to be mean to the patients. I have been a patient at Rosetta for 20 years, my mother, a 3x breast cancer patient before me. My annual mammo is already an unnerving situtation, i dont need some demeaning, nasty, rude, person with a crappy attitude ordering me around, then flinging the pen back at me like it had cooties. Wear gloves! There are millions of people out of work. Find 2 people with some trace of empathy and common courtesy and professionalism. The drs and nurses on the 3rd Floor are excellent. Ive read many bad reviews regarding your reception staff over many years. Why have you not addressed this issue? Its unexceptable. I held my tongue last Friday but i will not do that again and im not switching drs. Im still really annoyed by yet another negative experience at your office. I can only speak to the two experiences I've encountered at Rosetta, one year apart, and I do hope this prevents others from the trauma I endured here. The first time, I was referred. I underwent a very painful and drawn out experience, similar to what I'm about to describe, but shorter in duration. Second visit was primarily because Lenox Hill radiology, the preferred radiology practice of several physicians practicing on the UES was booked, and I needed a test performed ASAP, (which was performed successfully today by a God-sent medical professional, not affiliated with Rosetta,) and Rosetta Radiology had a slew of availability. The administrative service at Rosetta Radiology, on the first floor were brazen and disrespectful; I can toughen up and respond assertively when being spoken down to in harsh tones, but it saddened me to see the older patients being treated in such a rude manner that was just unacceptable at a medical office. The doctor who attempted to perform my procedure, most recently (same as initial visit- which he admitted "I guessed my way the first time and got lucky,") was definitely not experienced as he and this establishment boasts, tactful, or empathetic as he dragged out an x-Ray that is usually 10 mins at most, to 40 minutes, pausing several times out of failed attempts and frustration, and calling for assistance, all while I underwent excruciating pain (won't go in detail here, as it's pretty graphic, but feel free to message me if you'd like a first hand account to consider when selecting a radiologist.) He then oddly instructed me to have my own physician "return with me," to assist him with the task; something my doctor and I were both put off by. I researched and thought, maybe my body is problematic and posed difficulty to the doctor attending my X-Rays at Rosetta both times, however, it was made clear to me that I was in the hands of someone who should not practice without further training in certain areas, after visiting TWO separate specialists afterward for further tests, where I was examined with minimal discomfort if any at all, and completed X-Rays and tests thoroughly. After going home in tears and in pain for two weeks, I had the courage to undergo my procedure elsewhere, a month later, after healing, with amazing medical specialty professionals who were referred by my physician. Hope this experience helps anyone looking into care here. read more

If you can, go someplace else. The MRI room was dirty, smelled of vomit (from prior patient) with equipment and supplies strewn everywhere. Customer service was horrible. We waited close to two hours before being seen. The phone support and scheduling was rude. Lastly, the reports were never sent to the hospital. All in all, a horrible experience. read more

The folks who answer the phone and schedule had me very nervous about this appointment-- by they are an anomaly. The staff itself is prompt, organized, and courteous. The techs put me at ease. If I could give less than a star I would. I was called twice during a snow storm and asked to come early because of in climate weather but never offered to reschedule for another day. When I arrived 30 mins early I was quickly through reception and upstairs to change for exam. There I waited for 30 mins watching three others go ahead of me that came later. When my appt did start (on time not early as they had requested I do) a tech started my ultrasound then grabbed her coat saying he had to beat the weather and left me in the exam room waiting for someone to finish my exam. I waited more than 20 mins for someone to return to the room! Complete unprofessional ism horrible bedside manner and beyond all else disorganized to rush people to your practice then have all your employees leave early. Find someplace better. Hi...I had an appointment today to have a bone density test done. Dr Andreopoulou my oncologist issued a referral to have it done. I was refused entry upstairs and refused treatment because I didn't show a vax card or negative COVID test. Wearing of a mask should have been enough. I was discriminated against, I felt like I had no rights. This is absurd and unheard of in a free country. This madness needs to stop. read more

I've been going to Rosetta Radiology since 2003. I had the best experience with the entire staff. They are quick efficient pleasant and walk you through the entire process when there is an issue with your screening. They are proactive sensitive highly professional and if you need to get a mammogram this is the place you should be getting it. read more
