Super clean and pretty well stocked. There were some empty spots here and there but they have your necessities as well as the best selection of cheese I've seen at any supermarket. This market is way out of my way but I don't mind. It's less crowded than KOP and less hectic and chaotic than my closest store. The highlight of my month was going to the Wegmans in Malvern. There was no line and and it was pretty empty. There were an abundance of workers who were constantly cleaning and scrubbing down the place. It was like stepping into the past and discovering Wegmans for the first time. Everyone was pleasant. Sure I experienced bare spots on the shelves but for the most part the Malven Wegmans had anything you could ever want and hope for. (I expected the meats to be low but there were still some choices) This happens from time to time where I really feel like I don't want to post my review because I'm afraid that it could ruin my future experience. I am not trying to flock people there And, I will ask that if people go there that they respect the 'climate' of this wonderful store. This Supermarket felt like an experience... not just a run and grab. I really appreciated how hard everyone was working to keep this store happy and upbeat and clean. I come here to stock up on snacks when I travel for work. People from Philly are obsessed with Wegmans, but it's just a grocery store to me. It's a nice grocery store and had self check out which is about all I need. This trip, I met up here with a couple of co-workers to get coffee. I don't actually like coffee so I was planning on getting chai tea, but they had some really interesting seasonal specials. I got the egg nog chai latte which was amazing. My coworker got the caramel apple cider which she said was really good as well. They do have a large hot food section and a restaurant as well, but I've never gotten food there. If you need a grocery store or a place to grab a quick bite to eat, this is a good place to stop. read more

So I find wegmans over priced. That said we shop here a lot for different things. Deli and dairy no better than any other grocery store and maybe a little over priced. The produce section is usually very good. If you are looking for something specific then they are likely to have it. Good selection. Maybe overpriced on organic items and other specialty items. Basics very competitive. Prepackaged meals are expensive. That said you will not find these items anywhere else. So if you like them here is your only option. Hot bar at $9 per lb. very expensive. Meats section very nice selection. Seafood can be expensive but a good selection. The crab cakes are crazy expensive but good. Not worth the money in my opinion. Also the premise shrimp are also very good but at $25 per lb not worth it read more

Best, cleanest supermarket in the area. Staff is very friendly. Items were stocked well even in the height of the pandemic. I've been here literally hundreds of times and haven't had a bad incident yet. They really helped me get through the pandemic. Produce selection is great. Only detraction I could think of is the fact that they are more expensive than most. I would put them at more expensive than a Giant or Acme but cheaper than Whole Foods. But you get what you pay for. I like to split up my shopping for the week and get my produce, meat, seafood and baked goods from Wegmans and then the name brand other stuff from my local Giant because they usually have better deals. This isn't a 'buy one, get one' type of place, but that's ok it's overall score is still a 5 no matter. read more

After living in a location that didn't have a Wegmans, I have taken for granted how much I love it. One of my favorite aspects of Wegmans is it's accessibility. I often shop with someone who is a wheelchair user and find most grocery stores incredibly frustrating. The isle size at Wegmans is HUGE allowing plenty of room for shopping carts, wheelchairs, stollers and walkers. They also just added a program to assist shoppers who are blind or low vision. They have plenty of accessible parking at both entrances as well as parking for mothers. Their vegetable selection always has good quality produce, however if you go during a crowded time you run the risk of low stock. Wegmans brand itself is great quality food, and very affordable. It is a misconception that they have high prices!! They also identify on ALL their packages whether it is gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. Their organic selection continues to expand, they have a large vegan, vegetarian and gluten free selection as well. Their prepared food is always good, and I enjoy the pub! What can I saw about Wegmans? Well for starters I LOVE this supermarket. But it's so much more than just a market, it's an experience. I feel so welcomed whenever I go here, which is about 3 times a week since I work down the street from the market. The workers are all friendly and I love the produce. What a wonderful and helpful place! I had a big party to shop for and I was feeling a little overwhelmed with the details but the customer service was so top notch that I got in and out of there in no time; all the food was delicious and Wegmans had everything we needed. I wanted to specifically point out Lisa in the bread department, Joseph at the deli counter and Will (I believe that was his name) at the checkout counter. Lisa helped me pick the right bread for each meal (we were planning our menu according to specific countries) and she helped me pick the best option for the price, she was also extremely friendly and patient with the millions of questions I had for her. I kept coming back after finding something else I needed to get on the list. Joseph (at deli) is always friendly and he clearly knows his stuff in regards to the best options to pick. He's made wonderful suggestions that have pleased both myself and my husband many times. There was also another deli person working the day I had to shop for the big event but I cannot remember his name unfortunately. I needed to figure out how much cheese to get for the party and he really helped me figure out the best amount for the group size (it was provolone and it worked out great!). Will (I'm pretty sure that was his name) was beyond helpful at the register, I had 3 (yes three...) different people I was buying for and he made sure everything was bagged together and that it was bagged together by category (cold/frozen/snacks/veggies/etc). He made a annoying situation seems easy and carefree (I felt so awkward walking up with 3 different orders). I also want to mention just the overall amazing service that I receive every time I enter Wegmans, the staff is top notch and I truly look forward to my trips there (I go at least once a week as I am a Personal Assistant). Wegmans changed their pizza recipe and it's now terrible. It's a lot smaller with less cheese, less toppings and thicker dough. Even a frozen DiGiorno tastes better than this new Pizza recipe. This is a Wegmans Corporate decision, not a branch decision. Please tell corporate to go back to the original pizza recipe ASAP! However, the Wegmans pizza shop staff is great! They are extremely friendly to customers and took pride in their work. They used to make amazing pizza, and would often come up with cool creations that tasted great! Each Wegmans is set up a little differently but this one has a great wine and beer section right in the middle of the store. I think their selection is as good or better than most of the state stores in the area. Plus you they have two check out lines where you can pay for your alcohol and your groceries at the same time which is super convenient. GOD lives in WEGMANS! I may have found GOD at the Cherry Hill (New Jersey) location, but his home ("Heaven") is in MALVERN FREAKIN' PA! Where or What is Malvern Pa? I have no clue. But what I DO KNOW is they have the most amazing master of all WEGMANS Grocery Stores! - This Wegmans has a PUB, yes a PUB and FULL Restaurant attached to the super grocery store! - There is a play/kids area with a huge flat screen Tv with cartoons for children. Now if only they had babysitting like IKEA (HINT HINT..great CEO of Wegmans) - I could seriously live in their bathrooms. Wegmans has one of the most cleanest and cozy bathrooms I have ever stepped in. From the clean smell, bathroom stalls, lovely music, automatic flush option, toilet sanitizer gel, fruit smelling hand wash pumps. I find it disturbing that I am that obsessed with a bathroom but WEGAMANS is just that amazing. - Of course like all Wegmans they have an amazing produce section. The largest section of Organic products in any grocery store PERIOD. Everything is in order, they never run out of anything and the customer service is ON POINT. Is the Malvern Wegman's taking it's customers for granted???? I have been shopping here since they first opened in July 2010. In that time they've gone from the BEST Supermarket/Grocery Store/ Restaurant I ever shopped to another run of the mill one not much better than Giant/Acme/Genuardi's. There have been noticeable drop-offs in the quality, I used to be an Asian Bar regular now I don't bother. The food offerings never change anymore, they got rid of many of the good items (when was the last time they had ribs?), jacked up the prices and now the food sits there for hours and hours and tastes like it. . More negatives are that unless your buying something directly from their Butcher Counter (which is good but very expensive) their packaged meat is expensive and mediocre. Also, it's disturbing how often it seems when I do shop there how bare the shelves are at times (and we are not talking weekends). Now for the positives The Pub is still very very good and I do really enjoy their Sushi. They have a very good beer selection. I like their bakery items (I just love the Jalapeno cheese bread!!!) and they have a great produce area/selection. Obviously I still shop there though my enthusiasm is waning. read more

Sure, it's a grocery store - with great prices and selection, including tons of organic/natural - but, let's hit the other reasons why you should be visiting Wegmans... Beer - it's also the best beer store around (up to a maximum of 192 ounces of beer per person... thank you, pennsylvania, for that super useful law) The Pub - sit-down restaurant inside of the Wegmans with great prices and a no-tipping policy. not to mention the growlers of beer. The Food Court - if the pub doesn't work for you, pick from sushi, sandwiches, burritos, pizza, salad bar, hot bar, etc., and sit down inside, outside, comfy room, big room or kid-friendly room. The Prepared & Semi-Prepared Foods - if you're looking to pick something up on the way home, either grab something prepared like $6 or $10 meal deals (pick a main + a couple of sides and just re-heat) ; or semi-prepared, like their raw chicken or pork already trimmed and marinating in one of a number of sauces. I could go on... the coffee bar... the fresh breads... the bakery... c'mon Acme - get in the game! read more

Do other "grocery stores" even exist anymore? I think that Wegmans is going to completely set the tone for all food stores and knock out any one of them that doesn't hop on the bandwagon. Organics? Check Gluten-free? Check Beer? Check Take out? Check ALL extremely affordable and delicious. Their sushi is great, their pizza is large and in charge, and they have absolutely anything else you could want. I love the build your own six-pack of beer because they have a great selection and why get one kind when you could get six? amiright? They have store brand organics which is extremely cost-effective when shopping on an organic diet. Their whole bakery section, deli, and seafood areas are always extremely fresh and tasty. I have said as much about another Wegman's, but this company is vastly different than most others in that it brags about the importance of supporting its employees. How absolutely refreshing. During my time as a supervisor, I found that this is the main way to make your business run well, and it shows at Wegman's -- the cashiers are always incredibly sweet and helpful, and anyone you ask for anything drops what he or she is doing to run around with you and find what you need. People seem to like rather than hate their jobs! As public libraries lose funding and mixed-use space disapprears, a place like this is becoming a public commons, and you can use the wifi in a no-pressure environment. A lot of thought has been given to the space design; it is very comfortable. Just try getting a seat at lunchtime though. Consideration also extends to alternative diets; just check out their vegetarian buffet, and I appreciate their exhortation (a giant sign) to BYOBags. We can always find obscure vegetables here, and the store brands are of high quality too. Great beer selection too. I know some who come here just for that. The pub's no-tipping/fair pay policy has not decreased the quality of service, a model more restaurants should emulate. I'd love to see more plant-based meals in the pub and descriptions that signify when ingredients are gluten-free, vegan, and so on. I think this is coming. read more

While visiting friends in PA, I offered to go to the grocery store to pick up a few items to have with our cocktails. Little did I know that grocery store would end up being the splendor and glory that is Wegman's. Meats, cheeses, sushi (super fresh and made-to-order), beauty products as far as the eye can see. A deli, a restaurant, a salami counter with a salami specialist who will get you what you want but offer you a taste of what's better. Beach chairs, paper products and even a bar. Yes, a bar. It;s sectioned off and has upholstered seating and looks like a mighty chill place to sit back with a beer. Oh, that reminds me - THE BEER. This Wegman's has a beer selection that rivals any fancy, exclusive, snooty beer-specialty shop or bar I've ever been to. Yeah, I mean it. A bourbon cask-aged Allagash I've never seen before? 40's from The Green Flash? These are just a few of the offerings I can remember, but what I remember even more is how thoroughly impressed I was. In a word, it was awesome. I'm sad there are no Wegman's anywhere remotely close to where I live, as I would surely spend many hours a week sampling, swooning, and shopping to my heart's delight. read more

Wow! Wasn't expecting to find a Wegmans in this part of the world. I was on a business trip and serendipitously found it on my GPS. Like all other Wegmans, there's great produce and an amazing selection of pre-prepared food of all varieties. I picked up a few items for my trip, then hit the salad bar and the hot foods section. I then parked myself in their cute little cafe area and enjoyed my pulled pork, tamales, and steamed broccoli. While munching, I noticed that you can buy wine by the glass in their cafe - from some sort of automated dispenser. Sadly, I had to drive, so I couldn't sample. I'm a big, (nay, huge) fan of Wegmans, and I only pray that they start to spread, if only to serve as a shining example to all other supermarkets. read more

Okay, this is my second time at a Wegman's and my husbands first, and I have to say....Wegmans rocks!!! They promote alcohol, well at least that's how I see it. They have a 'make your own 6 pack' in the beer area (yeah, I'm still psyched that it's a grocery store with alcohol) and they have a wine by the glass vending machine. The prices are fair compared to the other supermarkets in the area. In my opinion, it is a top quality supermarket that raises the bar. The layout is great. If you get lost, it's okay. You will probably find something new and delicious. It has happened to me a few times. The baked goods are excellent. The coffee bar is worth checking out as well. I had a high expectations for the newest Wegmans location, but I came away unimpressed. We came to grab a quick bite of sushi and pick up steaks for the dinner. The Market Cafe area is nice, and consistent with the Collegeville location. The grocery store is not as good as Collegeville or even the Downingtown location. The meat selection was horrible. Basically cheapo club pack meats, and then few way overpriced high end meats at $50/pound. The Downingtown and Collegeville locations have a much better meat selection. The other thing that kind of shocked me was that the guys behind the behind the meat counter were not friendly. I've been going to Wegman's for nearly two decades, starting with their locations in Northeastern PA. I've always had a good customer experience in the past, but this location was not up to the typical Wegmans standard. The selection in every other category was limited when compared to other locations. I wanted to get some sports drink mix that I get in the health food section of Collegeville, it wasn't stocked. I wanted to get some Tortellini, a non Wegmans brand available at both Collegeville and Downingtown, it wasn't stocked. There is a pub here, restaurant, no tipping, a scone area, and etc. It's a while food and Costco baby where everyone is just happy working there. Prices are low and the entire place had anything you could possible want. This review is for the Pub restaurant in Wegmans. And I actually think 2 stars is generous, but alas. 5 of my girlfriends and one newborn came here during a lunch break. It wasn't hard to get reservations and we were sat right away. The selection was fine and we all ordered promptly. Our waiter, an older gentleman, was clearly grumpy. I wondered if it was our chatty group, but my friend reassured me that waiter's always grumpy. Alrighty then. The waiter remembered my Diet Coke, but forget my water. Soon enough our food came. The fries were delicious and a special treat as I try to avoid them. When I bit into my chicken sandwich, it was a bizarre sensation. Like, I was biting through hard layers. I look at my friend who also got chicken and she said, "Wait, this is weird. I bite and it's goes 'pop, pop, pop!'" We told the waiter and he ran off. We asked him if we could order something else and he said he already asked the chefs to refire the pop chicken. We said we'd like to refrain from the nasty chicken and ordered different meat. The food eventually came (it took longer than I thought). No apology or anything. Just more grumpiness. The food was just okay. The highlight was the waiter offered separate checks. Massive super-duperly huge market. This place reminds me of stereotypical Texas, everything is bigger, yet the headquarters are in New York, (makes sense why that gaudy clock tower is there I suppose) The crazy thing is that this one isn't even the biggest or best one around me( the providence town center one in Collegeville is.) Whatever you want, this place has got it. Now that I think about it, it's basically like a wal-mart reversed. Wal-mart has a huge section of retail with some groceries, Wegman's has a huge selection of food and some retail. Other nice things about this location include but are not limited to: wi-fi access, coinstar, redbox, and MoneyGram. Only negative, parking, oddly shaped and causes people to have to pretty far away when it gets packed. Last but not least, I love this place because it is right next to where I work, when I get tired of the cafeteria food on campus, I just take a quick 4 minute drive to it and grab something to eat. They have all types of cuisines as well as salad bars, sandwich shops and even a full blow pub, which I do not go to because I am working....... Its also kinda a full blow beer distributor as well, and they actually allow you to buy six packs and make your own six pack. read more

Where to begin...I've perused most of the nooks and crannies of Wegmans since it opened over the summer. The burittos, sushi, pizza and fresh food bar are all great. A better bargain than the hot food is the Udon Noodles with Hong Kong Style Beef ($5 for a decent size portion that heats up in about two minutes). The deli, butcher and cheese shop are all superior to any local Acme/Genuardi's/Giant. The beer shop prices are just about the best around without having to resort to smuggling something in from out of state--though the growler fill prices do seem a bit high. The pub has a great atmosphere and makes for an enjoyable meal in of itself and the flight gives you chance to get a sampling of three new beers for a buck each. I live about 11 miles away yet go here for my regular grocery shopping now. Couple of notes: I've been told that lunch during work is not quite doable with huge crowds from all the local office parks teeming up here. The layout does take a little bit of getting used to and is not even consistent with other Wegmans locations. The Asian food bar can run into a $15+ meal pretty quickly. Will also mention that unlike the Collegeville location, I haven't run into any issues with specials being out of stock. read more

This Wegmans is in a strip mall off US-202 and Route 29. I used Matthews Road and Foundry Way to get there but other approaches are possible. It has occurred to me that I never actually use Wegmans as a grocery store. Every time I go to a Wegmans, I just used them as a large self-serve restaurant and ate the food in their well-equipped lounge area. I don't think I've ever seen another grocery store offer quite the same facilities. I'm a huge fan of all things Wegmans. My only gripe with this location is that it's laid out completely opposite from the Collegeville location. I'm so used to the Collegeville layout that I am perpetually confused by the Malvern store. That being said, it's super convenient location off of 202 keeps me coming back! The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because it is very easy to overspend at the food buffets. You can get the same quality food for far less at any if the local buffet restaurants in the area. That being said, the overall selection is second to none. The Pub makes a great burger. Even though the food court prices are high, the groceries are very reasonable. You can't beat the ability to grab a hoagie and a beer of your choice on the spot in a supermarket and getting to enjoy them right there on a big comfy couch. I am a huge fan overall. Picture a food store that is massive in size, has everything from bulk items to small organic foods, to a vibrant indoor marketplace... but imagine it not feeling like a big box megamart. That's what makes this store so fantastic! My wife worked in the Cheese department and absolutely loved the amount of training and knowledge she picked up working there. The ONLY reason she left was because her day job got more demanding and we're expecting! It's just a fantastic place to find quality products. Wegmans - it's the upper-middle class of groceries: good selection, pleasant ambiance, but slightly over-priced. It's packed to the ceiling will snotty, center-of-the-universe Main Liners who seem to be professionally trained in blocking entire aisles, but any other day is totally fine. One time, I saw a 30-something-year-old guy try to feed a coupon into the scanner by jamming it into the slit behind the plexiglass in front of the scanner. When it fell in, visible to the world, but still unscanned, he tried to retrieve it and practically tore the scanner apart, unsuccessful. I was as delighted as he was panicked. Also, they sell beer.
