The outpatient is greeted by the therapist, escorted to a private room where the therapist conducts the evaluation, devises individualized treatment plans, and the therapist completes all of the treatments, not an assistant. The expertise of the Physical, Occupational, or Speech Language Pathologist guarantees on-going evaluation with each session and promotes positive clinical outcomes. The private treatment room generates an atmosphere of comfort and decreases performance anxiety. This environment allocates privacy to discuss medical diagnosis, especially those personal issues such as: incontinence or wound care. Private treatment does not mean you are charged more, it means a one-on-one therapy session. Presently all other therapy companies conduct therapy treatments in an open forum. Patients can hear and observe others being treated. As therapists' we can appreciate the need for privacy, and we understand the reasons many pathologies goes untreated. We knew as passionate health-care providers that pediatrics to geriatrics deserved better quality therapy. Heated and air conditioned properly. This facility has so many mechanical tools to aid in rehab. I want to give special praise to Ryan Lee OT for careful rehab. He has so many ways of strengthening my shoulder before and after surgery. Each treatment was never boring and he always checked to see if each exercise was not painful. Ryan always greeted me when I entered. Ryan kept my surgeon posted on my condition. This is an outstanding facility. I made so much progress and I owe Ryan a bunch of thanks. She's taught me various moves to help heal injuries and now dry needles me to loosen up muscles every 10 weeks or so as maintenance work. She is professional, caring and leads a wonderful team. I have never had an issue scheduling an appointment, and Morgan has even been super flexible in working me when I need dry needling urgently.

(I learned you can't do two reviews for the same business on Google, so I am posting a review for my second treatment here.) I recently had to have physical therapy again because I had a head injury. The PT was to regain my balance. Alicia was again in charge of my PT, but I also worked a lot with Shawn and a couple sessions with Diane. They were all amazing. Very professional and got me to where my balance was much, much better than pre-injury. I learned of many exercises to do to maintain balance, which is important for me as I am 72. I do these exercises regularly. I was also introduced to a great piece of exercise equipment called a tidal tank. I have bought one and use it often. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience has been at Athletico WL.
