We absolutely love Weekday! As new parents, sending our precious firstborn to any school was a little frightening, so we planned lots of tours--but after visiting this one, we knew it was the right choice. Debbie, the director, and all the teachers are just amazing! Our daughter spent two wonderful years here, and now our younger son is in the Purple Door class. We recommend this school to everyone who asks! I only wish Weekday went through kindergarten, but we're so glad they at least offer TK. They use an app called Brightwheel to send messages and pictures throughout the day. Super user friendly :). The school is clean, modern, and so warm and welcoming. This is year seven for us at Weekday Preschool and we have loved our time here. I have multiple children with different personalities and needs, but each has thrived in their different classrooms here! I believe we have had almost all of the teachers at this point. I love that from the moment we step foot on campus, we are greeted by Debbie and Sheila and Georgina, smiling and helping foster a sense of self confidence that is tailored to the individual student. We especially loved Red Door last year with Margie and Stephanie. They were new teachers to our family, but quickly became some of our favorite teachers at the school. I volunteered in the classroom often, and saw first hand how they created an environment where the kids thrived. They encouraged independence by empowering the children, but did not tear them down if they needed an extra hand. Their experience and teamwork were evident, in how adept they were adept at dividing and conquering: offering the needed support to any child that needed it, but still ensuring the other children's needs were met as well. My daughter was more than prepared to transition to TK after Red door, and I loved that she was supported emotionally as much as she was academically. We are no longer at this preschool due to moving a good distance away, but I truly miss this place and it's a gem of a preschool. It is just a warm, loving, and perfect place for children to start their journey. I was so anxious about preschool as a first time mother and this place made it so easy for me to entrust the care of my son to the preschool teachers and the heart and soul of the place is the director, Debbie, of course. I have been to several preschools but none of them have a play area like this. I am a firm believer in play based learning and growth with lots of care, encouragement, and nurturing. Weekday Preschool is MAGIC. I felt this way as a child attending in the 90's, and I feel that way now as a parent with children who have attended this preschool for the last 6 years. Two of my children are still there, with one having already graduated and one eager to do Hand in Hand when he is of age. Everyday we are greeted with warm enthusiasm by Debbie and the wonderful collection of staff and teachers that work at Weekday. I am not sure how it is possible they can remember everyone's name, but they always do! As longtime patrons of the school, we have had experience with nearly all the classrooms and teachers. They have all done a superb job of shepherding my children through their early development years. I am always impressed with Debbie and her teachers' ability to juggle a variety of personalities and challenges with kindness and grace. We are grateful to have found a place that nurtures a play based learning model. They allow kids to play, get messy, and hands-on exploring the world, while still preparing them for the next academic milestone - kindergarten. Every day is the BEST day. We currently are blessed to have Stephanie and Margie as our teachers. They are a powerhouse combination! I love how they let her get messy with the paint, they join in for pretend play in the play kitchen, and when morning separation gets tough, they are always there to support my child with both words and hugs. It never takes long to shift her mindset after a little snuggle from Margie or Stephanie! Overall, I don't trust just anybody with my children, but over and over again Weekday Preschool has demonstrated honesty and integrity. Weekday Preschool has become such a blessing to our family. The Hand in Hand program offers an incredible opportunity for early socialization, and provides amazing support from both the staff and other parents in the class. It creates a rare sense of community for both parents and their children. The campus feels like a hidden gem-- tucked away and so thoughtfully designed for little ones. My daughters absolutely love the mud kitchen, and the outdoor space with sandboxes, swings, scooters, bikes, a play gym, and water play on warm days; making it a magical environment for kids to learn and explore through play. I'm so glad we decided to keep my eldest for TK. The TK teachers are amazing and I love that my daughter (5 years) can still have play-based learning before starting Kindergarten in the Fall. Most importantly, I have always felt safe leaving my girls in the care of the Weekday teachers and staff. Keep your child safe. Please stay away from this school. I was fooled by those nice reviews! Margie and Stephanie Red door classroom were very racists. They abused my kid and blamed it on her. They kept saying she cries and she doesn't follow what they said. They pushed me to take her to some kid behavioral therapy that the Weekday is contracted with. But I decided to take my kid to an independent kid psychologist to evaluate her who stated and wrote me a letter that my kid was totally normal. When I confronted them, they refused to answer. I warn you to listen to any of their teachers. In fact of your kid tells you anything, you must trust your kid. As soon as I took my kid to a different school, she started being happier. Her new teachers are so happy with her. In the end, I felt I made the right decision by going to a different school. read more

Weekday Preschool is truly heaven on Earth for kids. I myself attended Weekday from 1996-1999 and my siblings attended after me until 2006. The magic and spirit of Weekday has truly been maintained over the last 30+ years. Throughout my elementary, middle school and high school days I would stop by and visit my old teachers and of course, the sweetest possible preschool director, Debbie who remembers pushing me on the swings! When I had kids myself, as soon as I could I signed up my son for Hand in Hand (18 mos old) with Mrs. Casey, and he is now in one of their TK classes as a 5 year old- meaning we have gone through 4 years and various classrooms since then. We are so excited to start H+H again in the fall with our daughter. Weekday encourages hands on play, creativity, art, nature, and all types of diversity just to name a few of our favorite things. We LOVE the outdoor play, and that Milo always has a change of clothes if mud kitchen gets wild. The school is SO welcome to parent involvement, and some of our favorite memories are of snack days where parents are welcome in to bring snack to share with the classroom. The few times I've had questions about my sons development or questions about what school to send him to for elementary, Debbie has been so thoughtful, caring, and takes the individual into account before giving her thoughts and recommendations. The teachers are deeply loving, so funny, great singers/dancers and Milo can't wait to go to school everyday. When I ask him what his favorite part of the day was, he always tells me "school!!" Followed quickly by "lunch bunch" which is the extended hours after the 9-12 regular day. He adores ALL the teachers and I love that he feels so loved there, with everyone knowing his name no matter who welcomes him at the gate. Another mom and I were discussing Weekday a few weeks ago and she said "listen, if I could I would keep him at Weekday until he goes off to college' and I totally agree. Parents of a 6 and 3 year old. We have had such a great experience with their hand in hand program and preschool. Our oldest attended preschool here in 2023 and our youngest starts the preschool next year. We had the pleasure of having the youngest attend 2 years here already with the hand in hand program. Mrs. Casey is WONDERFUL as well as everyone else we have had the pleasure to know. They have wonderful events like Dad/ grandpa days and one for mom/ grandmas which the kids love. They were responsible for my kids looking forward to school and providing an app to parents so they can see what their kids have been doing. It's hard to say goodbye when transitioning to kindergarten but that's goes to show what a great experience they provided for the kids. Parents be aware! They are very good at labeling your child to"sensory processing disorder". They made us so worried thinking something is wrong with our son. Debbie (director) made our life hell for the 6 months my son attended their school. Every time I picked up my son from Orange door, teachers Mellisa and Rocha made a negative comment about him.I evaluated him with 3 different specialists and they all said he is too smart and he is probably bored in his class. We asked Debbie to change his class and put him with kids his age but she said she can't do that since there was another girl in the other class that was too hyper. We finally took our son out to another preschool and he is thriving! He just graduated TK and ready to go to kindergarten. His teachers love him and think he is gifted! So please don't listen to their comments about your child, cause children suppose to be hyper and playful and not want to stay in their boring circle time. Weekday is truly one of the best things that has ever happened to our family. We have three children, my two oldest went there, and my youngest is just beginning. The staff and teachers are incredible. We have been through Orange, yellow and green doors and each year has been a blessing for my little ones. There wasn't a day that they were picked up and said they had a bad day, always a glowing report and expression of how much fun they had! The teachers and staff are attentive, caring, loving and very knowledgeable. This preschool is a safe place and now that my two oldest are at a different school, they still talk about how much they love weekday and how much they miss it!! Weekday is AMAZING!!! After touring preschools for my son, I toured Weekday with a friend and was sold. This play-based preschool is incredible and their playground/outdoor space blew me away. With COVID changes, I was nervous what my daughter would experience in comparison to my son, who attended pre-COVID, but I had nothing to worry about. She LOVES going to school and seeing her teachers and friends. The school has taken many precautions, such as check in via an app and daily health questions and temperature checks. Keeping rooms separated during check in, check out, and outside play helps too. If you're looking for a preschool, you won't be disappointed here. I almost hate writing this review, because I know it's going to be even more popular than it already is. There is always a waitlist for this preschool and it's not even reviewed on Yelp! This is possibly one of the best preschools in the Valley. The playground is beautiful and well thought out. The only one I loved more was Highland Hall, which is double the tuition. There is enough selection for all the kids to find something they enjoy doing, and everything is organized and clean. I was lucky enough to have a friend tell me about their Hand-in hand program, which was by far my favorite Mommy and Me program. I am so happy I found this school! I applied for my son to attend last year. He was put on a wait list, but Debbie worked with me and he was able to enroll. This school and the staff are amazing. They really care about the students and it shows. The whole place is always clean. The teachers and staff are super polite and go above and beyond to get to know every child. I had heard great things about this school but the waitlist was always so long that I didn't try getting my daughter in until 2020. She finally got in and we accepted after hearing the extensive measures the school was implementing to keep everyone safe from the spread of COVID. The teachers somehow managed to turn such a confusing/isolating time into an amazingly fun, enriching, active, and socially rewarding experience that my child and I will never forget. Weekday day Preschool is a god send! We have had the best experience there. All the teachers we have had so far are truly wonderful, loving, and connect with each individual child. This is the 2nd year our son has attended Weekday Preschool. Our family is so happy we chose Weekday. They really care about the kids. When the kids arrive they all say hi to Debbie. Debbie, knows every kid in the entire school by name. Mind you, there are many kids. Our son has had Teacher Melina and Teacher Alicia in Purple door. They still say hi and play with our son when they see him. They were an absolute delight. Our son is currently with Teacher Cyndi and Teacher Veronica in Yellow door. His favorite thing to do is hide behind me when we walk into the classroom and he tries to scare them. They play along every day even though everyone knows he's behind me. We are so in love with Weekday. From Day 1 we have been treated like family, and it has been so invaluable for our daughter to be a part of this community, especially during the pandemic. Like all parents, we had our nerves about sending a child to school given the circumstances. However, Weekday had been so clear, consistent, and appropriately cautious in implementing protocols. It's so apparent they want to remain open to the greatest extent possible, yet safety of staff and families will always come first. We are so grateful to Weekday Preschool - what an amazing experience the past 3 years have been. The school is like family, with every child being greeted by the head of the school each morning during a regular school year, and every teacher getting to know all of the kids by name, no matter which class they are in. The teaching is fantastic - our son has learned so much, both academically and (especially) socially & emotionally. The head of the school has gone above and beyond to help us, even going as far as to sit down with us to understand our kindergarten options and give us advice. Whenever there is an issue (there will always be an issue, since kids are learning how to navigate this new world!), the teachers and head of the school have always been available to discuss and brainstorm strategies for addressing them. When the pandemic came, the school completely pivoted. While it was very sad to be out of school from March-Sept 2020, once the CDC gave the ok to re-open, Weekday did -- following the guidelines with professionalism and a genuine care for the well-being of students, parents, teachers, staff, and all involved. While I was concerned about sending our son back to school, the outstanding way that they handled the situation has put my concerns at ease. If you have an opportunity for your child to attend Weekday Preschool, I can't recommend it highly enough. It has been an incredible experience and we are so blessed to have it be our son's first school experience. We have been in weekday for around four years now. My oldest graduated preschool and my youngest who is two is attending the hands in hand program. It's difficult to put into words how incredibly amazing our experience has been. As a first time mother it may be nerve-racking to leave your preschooler for the first time, but everyone in the school is not only extremely professional, but so warm and loving to the children and the parents. I volunteer often and have seen everyone on the job handle the many situations that can arise with preschoolers with only love and kindness. The facility is kept to date and all the funds really go to better the school. Finding this school was truly a blessing for my family. Prior to visiting this preschool, I had toured around ten schools in the valley and weekday stood out to me. Weekday takes all the necessary steps to keep up with their NAEYC Accreditation. Both of my children went to Weekday Preschool and to date this was their favorite school. They're both in elementary school (grades 4 and 7) and they often recall memories from Weekday. Debbie is a phenomenal director who supports her staff and families in providing feedback and resources when they're needed. Teachers attend an annual early childhood conference and they are encouraged to continue learning within the early childhood field. The longevity of the staff is a testament to the quality program that Weekday offers. The school is one of a few in the area that is NAEYC Accredited, which is not something that you can earn easily. A lot of time, observations and commitment is needed to obtain the accreditation that Weekday holds. I can't say enough about how much my daughter and family love this preschool. We were able to tour and actually watch some of the class time. We were so impressed! The teachers are engaging during circle time and handle child arguments so the children learn how to use their words and solve their own issues with each other. They always think of creative activities that help the children learn through play. The playground is amazing.. my daughter loves the mud kitchen! The school director is dedicated to making a fun, creative and adventurous learning environment. Every family we talk to also agrees the school is amazing.
